1850 Sydney Views "Penny Black"-style essays by Alfred Clayton for a 1d in scarlet, in blue or in scarlet & blue, toned paper. Ceremuga Certificates (2004) each state "...reproduction or forgery". [Again, these are van Dyck facsimiles. A similar set of three affixed to a piece of paper endorsed "Clayton" sold for $2760 in the Sir Gawaine Baillie auction. The auction catalogue noted one other similar set having been recorded]

A rare proof. Ex John White & Sir Gawaine Baillie. [Most such proofs are singles that have been cut-close & had the waxed corner trimmed-off. Such items also routinely have faults]
