1946 (Dec) very late usage of 6d POW Postal Card to Germany apparently pre-stamped with '13 POW GROUP MURCHISON' h/s on reverse as it was posted at sea - endorsed "Schiff Orontes" alongside pronted 'Camp' - with 'PASSE FREE/OF POSTAGE' h/s,filing-holes at left, a few blemishes & the writing has faded. A remarkable post-war usage. [With letter from Phil Collas speculating the Orontes was used to return repatriated POWs to Germany]
