Very attractive little collection including 1909-10 Thick Paper to 2/-, 1912-23 Thin Paper including 1d Watermark Sideways block of 4, 1d 'JBC' Monogram block of 4 & 1/- 'CA' & 'JBC' Monogram singles, CofA Perf 11 blocks of 4 to 3d (lower units unmounted) & 4d marginal block of 8 (**) etc, generally very fine with many units being unmounted. (Qty 200 approx)
1909-10 Crown over Double-Lined A Thick Paper 3d & 6d BW #D84 & 86 matching blocks of 16 (4x4), CTO at Perth with full unmounted o.g., Cat $1600++. Used for paying postage due on a quantity of unpaid/underpaid mail. (Qty 32)

QUEENSLAND - Postal History
1911 cover to "Harbin Manchuria" addressed partly in Russian with 1d only tied by 'BENARKIN' cds, good strike of the scarce '30/CTMS/T' h/s, 'NAGASAKI/JAPAN' transit & Cyrillic Harbin arrival b/s, opened a little roughly at left. Terrific destination. Ex Hugh Campbell & illustrated at page 116 of his "Queensland Postal History".

1900 use of 'TELEGRAM' Envelope to 'SINGAPORE' (b/s) endorsed "Postage Paid" but without stamps, 'BROOME/JY18/00/WA' cds & bold 'T'-in-triangle tax h/s presumably applied at Singapore, light vertical fold at right. A rare overseas postal usage & a scarce destination. Ex Gundersen.
New Hebrides: 1933 philatelic cover to "Cochinchine" with 40c only & 'T'-in-triangle h/s, Hai-Phoing & Saigon transit b/s, Indo-China '5/CENTS/TAXE MINIMUM' h/s and 2c & 3c Postage Dues of different series tied by very fine 'CANTHO/COCHINCHINE' cds, small repaired tear at lower-left.
POSTAGE DUES: 1893 'TAHITI' Handstamp Diagonal 30c Dallay #9, and Handstamp Horizontal 3c (close at top), 15c (thinned), 40c & 60c #16 20 23 & 24, margins good to huge, Cat €3225. Offered "as is". (Qty 5)

1902 Cunard Steamship Company cover to New York with KEVII 2½d tied by very fine straight-line 'PAQUEBOT' h/s (Hosking #385) of 'DUBLIN & QUEENSTOWN/TPO' (equally fine cds alongside), boxed 'T 2/25' h/s & US tax h/s, Postage Due 10c tied to reverse by 'MASSENA/NY' duplex, opened-out for display.
1909-50s bundle of covers from FMS, BMA, Singapore & various Malayan States all addressed to India with good variety of frankings, also underpaid covers from Ceylon & India with Federated Malay States Postage Dues 8c or 12c (Cat £57 x10+), airletters from Singapore (4, including Tan #1), Malayan Federation (6, two uprated) & Malaysia, generally typical sub-Continental condition though some are fine to very fine.
