Chiefly used KGV Heads accumulation including perf 'OS' issues in four quality stockbooks with duplicated range to 1/4d (7, two perf 'OS'), plus mint to 5d including 1d red Harrison One-Line Imprint pair; also used Roos to 2/- with a few multiples. 3d olive Plate 1 No Monogram strip of 3 all units being Die II BW #12zd, well centred, the gum a little suntanned which in no way detracts from the superb appearance of this rare piece, unmounted, Cat $5000 (mounted). [Far superior to Arthur Gray's similar strip of 4]

5/- grey & chrome Watermark Inverted BW #43a, very well centred, a couple of slightly short perfs at base, lightly mounted, Cat $1500.

6d ultramarine "Broken Leg" BW #20d, repaired tear at lower-right & minor creasing, neat Melbourne cds clear of the variety, Cat $750.

Well organised duplicated array of Single & Multiple Watermark Penny Reds, Greens & a few Violets exhibiting mostly minor varieties but including Secret Mark (7), Line Through Wattles (12), Thin 'G' (6), Run 'N' (21), Flaw Under Neck (12) plus plenty more ACSC listed flaws to intrigue the specialist. Penny Reds annotated collection in quality Lighthouse hingeless album, with range of Smooth or Rough Paper varieties including Substituted Clich© (7), 'NY' Joined, Run 'N', plus heaps more lesser varieties, with possible shade interest. (Qty 100s)
Penny Violets & Greens annotated collection in quality Lighthouse hingeless album, all watermarks represented with a diverse range of varieties sighted. No rarities evident, but fairly comprehensive and would be an ideal acquisition to bolster an existing collection. (Qty 100s)
Annotated collection on leaves with lots of varieties on values to 4d orange & 4d blue, then a 4½d selection including Mullett (2) & Ash imprint pairs, condition a bit mixed. (Qty 200 approx)

Smooth & Rough Paper Penny Reds accumulation with lots of shades (although no attempt has been made to classify them). We noted Smooth Paper Dies I-II pair, Die I Watermark Inverted (40+, including a few perf 'OS'), Rough Paper Die II (20 including perf 'OS/NSW' x2), Die III (14), perf 'OS' Die II Smooth (3) & Rough (5), etc. High catalogue/retail value. Shade accumulation of all values (excluding Penny Reds) to 1/4d (12), perf 'OS' 4d violet (9) 4½d (11) & 1/4d (5), perf 'OS/NSW' 4d orange (3), 4d lemon (4), 4d violet (2) & 5d. Also 'T' perfins for most values and a smattering of Watermark Inverted issues, but sadly no rarities. Condition variable. (Qty 100s)
Single-Line Perf ½d pale emerald BW #64, machine cancel, Cat $500.
Smooth Paper 1d red Plate 1 block of 12 (6x2) with four Die I-II pairs BW #71(1)fa, margin at right, exceptional centring, the first unit with light corner bend & very lightly mounted otherwise unmounted, Cat $4800+. Exceptional!
Smooth Paper 1d red Plate 2 Rusted (Pre-Substituted) Clich©s BW #71(2)i with machine cancel and #71(2)j with part-'TRAYNORS LAGOON' (Vic) cds, the latter with some colour diffusion on the reverse, Cat $1500. BSAP Certificate (undated). (Qty 2)

Smooth Paper 1d red Plate 4 upper-left corner block of 10 (2x5) from a £1 booklet (telltale staple-holes in the left-hand margin) with Thin 'ONE PENNY' & 'NY' Joined BW #71(4)L & m and the last unit with unlisted Bullethole at Back of Skull, unmounted, Cat $985++. A rare positional piece.
4d bright orange vertical strip of 5 from the upper-right of the right-hand pane, the second unit Line through 'FOUR PENCE' & the fifth unit 'PE' Joined BW #110(2)h & m, all but the last unit are unmounted, Cat $1350+.
