C of A KGV - Single Watermark
1d State 4 (the approved state) die proof in carmine-rose on glazed card reduced to stamp-size BW #70DP(14)Bd, tiny and barely significant stain in the margin at upper-left, Cat $12,500. Dunkerley Certificate (2007) confirms the ACSC statement that 7 die proofs are recorded in this colour, of which this and two others are cut-down.
C of A - Other Pre-Decimals
1935 ANZAC 1/- black Perf 13½x12½ BW #165PP(1), a couple of very lightly toned perfs, unmounted, Cat $2500. [ACSC states this is a plate proof. The issued stamp was Perf 11]

NEW SOUTH WALES
1850-51 Sydney Views 1d plate proof in dull red on thin yellowish wove paper, a huge corner example from lower-right of the sheet, margins good to enormous except where just touched at extreme upper-left. Sensational! BPA Certificate (2006).
1854-59 Diadems 6d die proof in black on thin card (56x60mm), a superb impression. Rare and desirable. [There were no Large Diadem die proofs in the "Manwood", John White, Frazer, Butler and Rivett-Carnac Collections. Sir Gawaine Baillie had die proofs of the 6d & 1/- on India paper reduced to stamp-size & affixed to thin card: they sold for $13,800 & $12,650 respectively at auction in Melbourne in 2005]
1853-54 Courier Plate II 4d orange as SG 10 but on Vertically Laid Paper, cut-to-shape, a couple of tiny black flecks on the face, unused, Cat £5000. RPSofL Certificate (1948). [Gibbons state in a footnote under SG 12 that stamps on laid paper are from proof sheets]
TASMANIA - Postal Stationery
Letter Cards: 1898 Sideface 2d "Diana Basin and St Patrick Head" plate proof [posn 5 on the plate of 6 units] in black on thin card, cut-to-size & with the fold at the base, some very minor toning on the reverse only. Rare. Ex Gene Tinsley and Malcolm Groom.

1882-85 CA Perf 12 4d colour trial in olive-green, large-part (disturbed) o.g. Ceremuga Certificate (2007) states "Great rarity as only several recorded" and, in pencil, "3 recorded and in fact probably only 3 made". [There is no example in the Royal Collection, nor was there one in any of the Chadwick, Gartner, Juhl, Basterfield or Dr Cecil Walkley collections]
TAIWAN: 1995 Cherry Salmon $5 Mating imperforate proof lower-right corner block of 4 in the issued colours on gummed paper, Chinese inscription in the margin, unmounted.
Tunisia: 1955 Rotary Anniversary 25fr deluxe die proof in black on thick wove paper (113x145mm), signed in pencil by the designer.

1855 Chalons 1/- imperforate plate proof in black on thin card, margins clear to large. [NB: this is from the original 1855 printing and not from the much later Hausberg reprints]
1935 Pictorials essays by James Berry (& others) for 10 designs most of which were adopted, set of stamp-size photographic reductions & another set in single colours of unknown provenance. (Qty 20)
