Third Wmk 6d brown Broken Leg *, used 2/- with Vertical Hairline (running from north west coast to the top of the stamp), 5/- (5) including Ewe Faced Roo, "Facial Lobotomy" (2, unlisted constant plate flaw) also a stray KGV 4d orange Wmk Inverted. Mixed condition. (Qty 14)

½d to 1/4d basic set with all colours and including 1d red Smooth Paper Die II & Die III, 4d lemon and 4d orange Watermark Inverted, variable centring, 1½d brown with surface abrasion, 3d a little toned with gum bends, a few other minor gum blemishes, some low values lightly mounted, denominations from 4d upwards (except 4d olive-yellow) are unmounted, Cat $1800+. Smooth Paper 1d carmine Die II BW #71(1)f, exceptional centring, very lightly mounted, Cat $600
Smooth Paper 1d red pair Watermark Inverted, the left-hand unit being Die II BW #71(1)fa, unmounted, Cat $1500 plus a good premium for the watermark variety.
War Savings Paper Die III 1d deep bright red Thinned 'US' of 'AUSTRALIA' First State (Thinned Oval & White Flaw within 'U') BW #75m, well centred, fine 'SCONE/20AU18/NSW' cds clear of the flaw, Cat $500.
War Savings Paper Die III 1d deep bright red Thinned 'US' of 'AUSTRALIA' Third State (Retouched: Deformed 'S') BW #75mb, one pulled perf at lower-left, very lightly cancelled, Cat $1500.
4d orange Line through 'FOUR PENCE' BW #110(2)h being the last unit in an upper-right corner block of 6 (3x2) remarkably with trace of the Plate 1 Monogram at Top!, well centred, a few microscopic black flecks on the face - you need to be as short-sighted as Gary to see them! - & some minor perf reinforcing at base otherwise a very fine & attractive block, the upper units unmounted, Cat $800++.
4d orange Watermark Inverted BW #110a four singles in distinctly different shades (one with tone spot at top) plus an attractive block of 4 from the upper-left of the right-hand pane (faint toning, two units unmounted), and a used example, Cat $850 minimum. (Qty 9)
C of A KGV - Large Multiple Watermark
½d green Electro 4 block of 12 (4x3) with 'CA' Monogram Substituted for 'JBC' BW #65(4)ze, a few hinge remainders but the monogram unit is unmounted, Cat $400+ as a mounted single. [Dix & Rowntree believed that Harrison substituted Unit R43 at the very beginning of his tenure. Howver, while this block has Harrison's Substitution of the 'JBC' Monogram, unit R43 is the Pre-Substituted State, meaning that this block is probably from Harrison's very first printing]
½d bluish green Electro 5 Cracked Electro (Vertically from Top of Wattles at Left, Down the Oval Frameline & through the Kangaroo) BW #65(5)ha, being the lower-left unit in a slightly irregular marginal block of 23 (4x6, less the first unit in the last row) from right of the left-hand pane, also including "Kangaroo with Boxing Gloves", White Spot on Kangaroo's Back & Eight Wattles at Left [15-17], exceptional centring, unmounted, Cat $650+. Superb!
½d emerald Thin Fraction at Right BW #65(5)m being the first unit in horizontal pair - exceptional centring - tied to small piece by 'LAUNCESTON/21FE18/TASMANIA' cds, Cat $250+. Superb!
