Wild Duck (Creek): unframed 'WILD DUCK/NO4/69/VICTORIA' light but very fine strike on cover to England, alongside Laureate 6d tied by BN '393' (first type; rated RR). The only recorded example, that raises the suggestion that Wild Duck may have been the original name of the office. [14km WNW of Heathcote: Goldmining, and now a wine-growing area]
