1850-51 Sydney Views Plate I (No Clouds) Soft Yellowish Paper 1d crimson-lake SG 1, good even margins, rounded corner at L/R clear of the design, neat bars cancel, Cat £450.
1850-51 Sydney Views Plate I (No Clouds) Soft Yellowish Paper 1d carmine SG 2 horizontal pair, margins close to large except at right where just touched, a couple of tiny defects, indistinct cancels, Cat £800+.
1850-51 Sydney Views Plate II (Clouds) Hard Greyish or Bluish Paper 1d brownish red SG 12, margins just clear to large, indistinct numeral cancel, Cat £275.
1850-51 Sydney Views Plate III (Single-Lined Undated Bale & No Dots in Stars) 2d ultramarine SG 29  from the base of the sheet, margins good to huge with part of the adjoining unit at left, BN '64' (Reversed '4') of West Maitland, Cat £170.

1854 Laureates Numeral Watermark 2d chalky blue with 'WALES' Partly Covered by Wavy Lines SG 86a, good even margins, unused, under-catalogued at £550. BPA Certificate (2006). [We have no record of an unused example in any major collection]
1854-59 Diadems 6d grey-brown Watermark '8' SG 96a, margins close to large, unused, Cat £2750. [Superior to the only other unused example we have noted, in the "Manwood" Collection, with very close margins. It was mis-identified as "fawn".

1860-61 Small Star Rough Perf 14-16 3d brown SG 16 horizontal strip of 3, virtually full o.g., Cat £180+.
1855 London Printings 1d dark green SG 1 horizontal pair, virtually full margins except at base where touched, a couple of small blemishes, dumb cancels of Adelaide, Cat £950+. Scarce multiple.
1855 London Printings 2d imperforate plate proof block of 4 in black on ungummed unwatermarked paper, margins close to large.
1856-58 Adelaide Printing 1d yellow-green SG 5a, margins close to large, '36' cancel of Clare; and 6d slate-blue SG 10, margins just clear to huge, ironed-out crease at top, '144' cancel (rated R) of Kadina; Cat £820. 1856 part-outer to London with London Printing 6d blue (margins just clear to large) tied by light '50' of 'ECHUNGA/=SOUTH-AUSTRALIA=' (cds at left, mss day), Adelaide transit b/s in red, London arrival cds & '3D' h/s both in red on the face, minor blemishes. Ex Lower.
