ENVELOPES - OFFICIAL: Long Envelopes comprising 'OS'-in-the-Die Sideface 1d red & 1½d red-brown plus "Star" with 'POSTAGE' 'THREE/HALFPENCE' on 2d scarlet HG DB3, 6 & 19 all for Victorian Education Department, the last uncancelled, a few faults, used; and No 'OS' 1918 1d red+½d green as Menuz #25 window envelopes for NSW Metropolitan Board of Water Supply & Sewerage in sizes 163x92 (faults) & 232x110mm (discoloured). ENVELOPES - PTPO: 1924 1d green + No 'POSTAGE' ½d orange Menuz #42 window envelope for Berlei Ltd with slogan 'BE AUSTRALIAN: BUY AUSTRALIAN GOODS' at the base, some discolouration at left & repaired tear on the flap, Cat $US1500. Ex John Sinfield. [The No 'POSTAGE' ½d die was used in error. Apart from this emission, for this user, the ½d orange without 'POSTAGE' is unrecorded. It cannot exist as a solo embossing]

OFFICIAL STAMPS: Commissariat Office black 'C.O ' (No Stop after 'O') on 2/-, the 'O' Apparently Inserted by Hand, rounded corner at upper-right; and Treasury black 'T.' on De La Rue V/Crown Perf 10 2d, Marginal Watermark 'VI' Only, short perf at upper-left. Rated S++. [Most unusual varieties] (Qty 2)
OFFICIAL STAMPS: Stipendiary Magistrates black 'S.M.' on Perf 10 4d grey-violet, an unusually large example, minor tonespots on the reverse, indistinct numeral cancel. Rated RRR.
