ENVELOPES: 21 pages from Barry Scott's KGVI exhibit with unused Post Office issues including "security net" issues, many PTPO issues including advertising types & a 2d magenta "permit" envelope (very scarce), 1d brown Forces issue (2) etc. Only a few items have been removed. (Qty 47)
ENVELOPES - PTPO: 1924 1d green + No 'POSTAGE' ½d orange Menuz #42 window envelope for Berlei Ltd with slogan 'BE AUSTRALIAN: BUY AUSTRALIAN GOODS' at the base, some discolouration at left & repaired tear on the flap, Cat $US1500. Ex John Sinfield. [The No 'POSTAGE' ½d die was used in error. Apart from this emission, for this user, the ½d orange without 'POSTAGE' is unrecorded. It cannot exist as a solo embossing]

ENVELOPES - PTPO: 1903 usage of Arms 1d Die II with illustration in green at upper-left of Resch's Waverley Brewery, superb Oxford Street duplex, vertical fold. [Most of Resch's advertising envelopes were 2d values. Their 1d Envelopes are rare; in fact, Ray Kelly didn't have an example]
"What Happened to That?" - Delayed on Arrival
DELIVERY IRREGULARITY: 1894 local usage at Hobart of 1d PTPO Envelope with 'NOT KNOWN' h/s on the face, printed 'Detained through irregularity/of Letter Carrier' label affixed to the reverse & tied by a faint strike of a multi-box postmen's h/s, double-oval DLO d/s in blue. A rare & most unusual item. [Only 3 such items have been recorded]
