Private Perfins accumulation including on Roos to 6d, KGV Heads to 5d, a few 1920s-30s commemoratives and a small selection from Australian Colonies, plus State official perfins mostly from NSW & Victoria on later pre-decimals and early decimals. Appears to be a good variety. (Qty 100s)
C of A KANGAROOS - 1st Watermark (Official Stamps)
2/- brown BW #35ba block of 4, traces of brown printing ink between the units, the first unit with a few slightly nibbled perfs, the upper units with hinge remainder, the lower units unmounted, Cat $4400+. A rare and desirable multiple.

Rough Paper 1d carmine-red Die II BW #72(1)fb, very lightly mounted, Cat $500. Advertised retail $675. Drury Certificate (2006).
C of A KGV - Small Multiple Watermark P13 - Official Stamps
1d green gutter block of 12 (2+4x2) including Die II block of 4 to the right of the gutter resulting in four Dies I-II Pairs BW #81(1)fb/fc, all Die II units with an erect spur, the right-hand pane units all with exceptional centring, unmounted, Cat $1800+.

Mostly OHMS covers including perfins Large 'OS' 4d Roo (defective) on 1914 registered cover to Thursday Island, perf 'OS' KGV 1d red Rough Paper, 1d green single (cover with printed 'PACKET POST') & pair and 5d (registered), overprinted 'OS' 1d pair (2) & 2d (5, one with Qld State Insurance Office propaganda), others include very late 1924 usage of long 4d Kangaroo Registration Envelope with KGV ½d orange & 3d dull blue (very scarce on cover), condition rather mixed. Mostly private perfins on Stamp Duties KEVII Long Types to 7/- 8/- & 12/6d, Numerals to £10 and on three 1960s Government Insurance Office documents one with 10/- & 9d optd 'G.I.O.' plus 2/- perf 'G/NSW', the others with values to 10/- perf 'G/NSW'. (Qty 26 plus 3 documents)
OFFICIAL PERFINS: Perf 'OS' selection on Pictorials including mint ½d with Double Perfin & 5d, then used including 1d Reading L to R, 2d Reading Upwards (2), 4d Reading Upwards, 5d (2) & 6d. (Qty 24)
OFFICIAL PERFINS: Perf 'T' annotated selection on Pictorials including London Printing 2½d, 3d (9, one mint), 4d (7), 5d (10) & 6d (6), later types with mint 2d 4d 6d & 'ONE PENNY' on 2d, used to 6d (5) including 1d block of 4, 1d Volcano Retouch (2), 2d vertical pair with Double Perfs at Right etc. Scarce group. TASMANIA - Postal History
1913 unstamped OHMS lettersheet from 'FENTONBURY' (cds smudged) with remarkable usage of Perf 12½ 'ONE PENNY' on 2d perf 'T' (typically poorly perforated) affixed in lieu of Postage Due and cancelled with 'HAMILTON' cds. [This is a very scarce stamp on cover, the ACSC price of $20 surely missing a zero! Perf 'T' it is a rarity]

MISSENT MARKINGS - MANUSCRIPT: 1897 1d Postal Card Hobart to Campbell Town endorsed "Missent Campania", superb!; 1907 Municipality of Hamilton cover to Hamilton with Pictorial 1d perf 'T' tied by 'ELLENDALE' cds endorsed "Missent/to/Gretna", two vertical folds; and 1908 cover 'YORK PLAINS' to Hamilton endorsed "Missent to/Hobart". (Qty 3)
VICTORIA - Postal Stationery
WRAPPERS - OFFICIAL: 1903 1d with printed 'On His Majesty's Service' & 'ELECTORAL INSPECTOR' in the address, the stamp with 'OS' perfin Stieg #DE1, vertical & diagonal creases as always & small fault at upper-left, unused. Rare. Stieg states that 10 unused and 2 used examples are recorded.

JAMAICA: 1919-21 MCA & 1921-29 Script sets, 1932 Pictorials SG 111-3 (minor faults), KGVI Pictorials basic set of 13 to 10/- (all unmounted) & a perf 'SPECIMEN' set (a couple of minor blemishes), mostly lightly mounted, Cat £625. APS Certificate for the 10/- perf 'SPECIMEN'. (Qty 54)
NEW GUINEA - Australian Stamps Used in New Guinea
Attractive group of postmarks on perf 'OS' Roos including superb 'Herbetsh0h' on ½d strip of 3 & 'Herberrtshöhe' on 1d pairs, Friedrich-Wilhelmshafen defaced seals Powell #19 on 1d pair & #21 on 2d on piece, st-line 'Rabaul' on 1d on large piece; normal Roos with oval Rabaul on normal ½d block of 4, 2d block of 4 & a 2½d single on piece, 'STEPHANSORT' on 1d & 3d on piece; and 1d Engraved pair with boxed 'RABAUL/5MAI1915'; & a couple of others. 1914 German New Guinea 5pf 5pf+5pf 10pf & 10pf+10pf Postal Cards all cancelled with the German 'EITAPE' cds of 3.11/14, unused. [Two similar Postal Cards with NWPI stamps added & two other items, one "registered", and all similarly cancelled sold for $1667 at our auction of 11/7/2008] (Qty 4)
