Scarce lot. [The regulations required that the labels be affixed across the box or barrel & severed on opening. Intact used labels are rarities] [** NB: this lot includes 27 items **]
BEER DUTY: c.1930 (?) 6/- apple-green apparently surcharged with '9/2' h/s (twice) in violet, minor corner crease, full unmounted o.g. 6/- value unliisted by Craig. Is this the speculative 9/2d Craig 1.090?

BEER DUTY: 1895 Third Series 6d Peck & Smith #2.512, Waverley Brewery d/s in violet, ironed-out folds that are barely discernible otherwise superb. Magnificent revenue stamp.
