AUSTRALIA - VICTORIA: 1901 multicoloured chromo-lithographed invitation (292x230mm) to the State Reception on the evening of the opening of the first Federal Parliament by the Duke of York, affixed to a larger piece of board that has corner faults & slightly affected by foxing at the edges. A beautiful item that should be re-mounted.

AUSTRALIA - VICTORIA: 1902 City & Town of Ballaarat "illuminated address" (500x620mm) to members of the volunteer forces returning from the Boer War featuring an allegorical figure offering a laurel wreath to mounted troopers, 'FW NIVEN & CO/LITHOS' imprint at lower-right, completed by hand with the recipient's name, wafer seals of the two municipalities (one deteriorated) affixed at lower-left & signed by the two mayors, behind glass in plebeian wooden frame, the paper-backing needs repair.

1914-36 KGV Commemoratives etc on Ka-Be hingeless pages with 6d Engraved Kooka, Kooka M/S (central position with perfs on all sides), all 1930s issues including 5/- Bridge (a few nibbled perfs), 1/- Lyrebird in the genuine yellow-green shade, 'OS' perfins and 'OS' Opts including both 6d Roos - the SMult 6d is very lightly mounted - but the Kingsford Smith pair are not included, a few minor blemishes but generally very fine with some being quite superb, unmounted.
