1856-59 'REGISTERED' (6d) orange-red & indigo being the 1888 reprint on hard yellowish paper, lower-left corner pair, margins good to enormous. RPSofL Certificate (2008). [It was a bad day for the Royal. They got the blue shade wrong, and noted thinning that we cannot see: this coarse paper exhibits some natural areas that are thinner than elsewhere, but the paper has not been damaged]

1856-58 Adelaide Printings 2d blood-red SG 8, an unusually large example with margins good to very large, light '61' cancel of Gambierton, Cat 60+. Superb! [This is a very unusual stamp. The impression is quite blotchy, possibly a Dry Ink variety. However, the resulting white "halo" behind the head is suggestive of a major Double Print]
