Rodney Perry Certificate (2009) states "Stitch watermark, all-over on this example which is very rare". [The late Bill Purves always waxed lyrical about stitch watermarks. Our vendor paid $A800 for this stamp some years ago]

Used collection on leaves with a number of better items including Wmk '2' 2d & Wmk '4' 4d both apparently imperforate singles, 10d grey & 5/- blue/yellow, a number of striking plate flaws including 4d with No Frame at Base & 8d brown/pink with Deformed 'E' of 'EIGHT', some of the underrated & undercatalogued Emergency Printings, ' 9 9/NINEPENCE' on 10d with Watermark Reversed etc, condition variable. 1863-74 Wmk Single-Lined Numerals 1d green SG 108 marginal example from the top of the sheet [C2] - Double Perfs at Top - & another from base of the upper pane [F13], also interpanneau strip of 4 [A7-9 - B7] on 1864 outer from Marong with BN '282', all from the first printing and thus without the marginal lines that were added to later printings. 1863-74 Wmk Single-Lined Numerals 2d units [A10/A13/E1/E4] from the left of the sheet with fragments of the imprint 'One Hundred and twenty Stamps in each Sheet. Value One Pound', the pair defective but with superb BN '54' (rated R); plus the corresponding units from the right of the sheet [D9/D12/D15/H3] with the imprint largely complete. On Holness' exhibit page which states the imprints appeared in the first printing only. (Qty 8)
