Album with unaddressed pre-decimal FDCs including 1940 AIF, 1953 Tasmanian Stamp Centenary & 1956 Responsible Government both tied by 'LARGS NORTH/SOUTH-AUST' FDI cds, 1950s covers with scarcer cachets, 1950s-1960s WCS or Royal types; some covers with toning or soiling but generally fine. Inspection recommended. (Qty 106)
Box of 1940s-1960s covers including some unusual private producers' types, some postmark interest, condition is very mixed. (Qty 150 approx)
1934 Large Kookaburra 6d tied to plain cover by 'BOULDER/1JE32/WESTN AUSTRALIA' cds, blue/black registration label, vertical fold clear of the stamp.
1950-52 Definitives 1½d green tied to Ogden grey & red screen-printed FDC by 'PARKVILLE/ 19JE50/VIC' cds, unaddressed and signed "EWm Ogden".
1961-65 Christmas Aerogrammes with GPO Sydney (2) or Clarence Street FDI cancels of the respective dates of issue, unaddressed. Scarce. (Qty 5)
1970-1990 Australia Post emissions in 9 volumes (including 6 PW illustrated albums), 1970 to April 1971 with typed addresses thereafter unaddressed, fine condition. Albums alone are worth a fair proportion of the estimate. (Qty 100s)

OFFICIAL STAMPS: 1880-87 Type 1 'O S' 5/- Coin Perf 11 SG O18 marginal horizontal pair from the base of the sheet, well centred, light & somewhat untidy Sydney duplex cancels of DE23/87, Cat £170++. A rare multiple, in fact the only used multiple of which we are aware. [Gibbons state that Perf 11 was issued in 1888: this can now be taken back to December 1887]
SRI LANKA: Box with an array of 1960s to recent First Day Covers & commemorative covers, some pictorial datestamps, mostly unaddressed, some mostly minor toning but the majority are fine. Rarely available. Thematic interest. (Qty 400+)

1840 (May 6) entire to France with boxed 'INDIA' h/s & boxed 'STEAM POSTAGE/...' rate calculation b/s both in red, two neat disinfection slits, rated "16" (decimes). [Posted on the official date of issue of the world's first postage stamp, the "Penny Black"]
