PERFORATED 'OS': 1d green Watermark Reversed BW #82(OS)aa, light Queensland cds, Cat $2500. A most attractive example.

1992-94 Threatened Species 45c sheetlet of 5 with World Columbian Stamp Expo overprint in gold completely imperforate BW #1567cb, Cat $500. Ceremuga Certificate (2000) as SG 1328pa imperf (prior to the issue of the ACSC "Decimals III" in 2002). [The imperf sheetlets were sold by Australia Post at the exhibition & probably 48 - a complete printer's sheet - were sold]

1932 OHMS airmail cover 'PINE CREEK//N.T.' to Canberra with scarce franking of KGV 2d perf 'OS' & Kangaroo 6d optd 'OS' (Cat $450 on cover), Council for Scientific & Industrial Research imprint at lower-left, a few small repaired peripheral tears.

1885-86 Stamp Duty Overprinted 'POSTAGE' in Blue 10/- lilac & claret/bluish paper Perf 12 SG 241b, large-part o.g., Cat £225. [Gibbons do not note the blued paper]
OFFICIAL STAMPS: 1880-87 Type 1 'O S' 5/- Coin Perf 11 SG O18 marginal horizontal pair from the base of the sheet, well centred, light & somewhat untidy Sydney duplex cancels of DE23/87, Cat £170++. A rare multiple, in fact the only used multiple of which we are aware. [Gibbons state that Perf 11 was issued in 1888: this can now be taken back to December 1887]
OFFICIAL STAMPS: 1882-85 Wmk '40' 3d yellow-green with Watermark Sideways SG O22a, rounded corner at upper-right, imperforate sheet margin at the base, large-part o.g. Unpriced by Gibbons.
POSTAGE DUES: Selection on display pages with ½d to 8d various perfs but complete with watermark upright & inverted all used plus 5/- 10/- x2 & 20/- x2 all CTO, 1d to 20/- faded set with 'Specimen' opt, ½d to 20/- with 'SPECIMEN' opt (all unmounted & rare thus), etc, condition variable. Modest collection on leaves with some better values including Officials, condition variable, STC £900+.
DEPARTMENTAL OVERPRINTS: Black 'N.T.' on '3-PENCE' on 4d ultramarine, a couple of short perfs, light Port Darwin cds cancel. Rated RR. Ex Colonel Napier. RPSofL Certificate (1965). [This value was issued only for this user & for the Private Secretary to the Governor. "Sir Humphrey's" similar example sold for $920 at our auction of 8/10/2005]
POSTAL FISCALS: Selection including 1863-80 mint 2/6d & 5/- sage-green, used 2/6d (2) & 10/- salmon & three reprint pairs, 1880 Platypus 1d to 6d mint + set postally used, 1900 'REVENUE' Opts 6d mint & £1 mint & postally used, some other values fiscally used & some later revenues including mint 'REVENUE' Opts 1d on 3d Overprint Inverted (2 different, no gum), 5d on 10/- & 4d on £1. POSTAL FISCALS: 1900 'REVENUE' Overprints 2/6d Imperforate Pair SG F32c, the left-hand unit touched in a couple of places, the right-hand unit margins close to huge, postally used with 'CLEVELAND/NO26/00/ TASMANIA' cds, Cat £600+ mint; unpriced used.
REVENUES: On document fragments comprising St George & the Dragon 5/- sage green strip of 3 with 1897 pen cancels and optd 'REVENUE' 5/- olive-brown strip of 3 with 1902 pen cancels; Tablets 10/- strips of 3 (2) plus 2/6d with 1899 pen cancels, and overprinted 'REVENUE' £1 block of 4 plus pair (one unit damaged) with 1946 pen cancels; Numerals rouletted £1 rose-carmine strip of 3 plus 10/- apple-green & 2/6d with 24/12/53 pen cancels [This may be an ERD for the 10/-, both Craig & Elsmore give the issue date as 1954]. REVENUES: 1900-03 Platypus optd 'REVENUE' 1d blue with Value Grossly Misplaced block of 8 (2x4), large-part o.g. & the central four units are unmounted.

1864-73 Laureates frankings 1) 1864 to Switzerland with 4d pair with Hairclip Flaw & 1/- Octagonal with Blue Line variety, both noted in ink by an illiterate; 2) 1869 mourning cover to London with 10d brown/pink, flap fault otherwise very fine; 3) 1872 to GB with 9d on 10d, very fine; 4) 1872 to GB with 1d x3 & 3d orange, BN '380', faults; & 5) 1873 to Germany with 6d & 9d on 10d, minor blemishes.
