GREAT BRITAIN: Early newspapers comprising 1) "The Edinburgh Star" (21-25/12/1810), aged; 2) "Special Number of the Illustrated London News" for the death of Queen Victoria (30/1/1901), 48pp, the outer pages detached & defective but internally quite fine; & 3) "The Daily Mirror" condemning the sinking of the "Lusitania" (8/5/1915), very fine; also 4) USA "Harper's Weekly" (New York, 16/1/1864), poor.
GERMANY: Bundle of royalty subjects mostly portraits & "action" shots of various royal children including some really charming pics, mostly unused & generally very fine to superb. (Qty 36)

1897 Golden Jubilee ½c to $1 SG 121-136 all but the 20c with cds cancels, plus $2 & $4 SG 137 & 139 both with characteristic but above-average roller cancels, mostly well centred, Cat £1900+. (Qty 14)
1935 Silver Jubilee annotated study including marginal blocks of 4, 'SPECIMEN' set (all with Short 'I' in the Perfin), shades, minor misplacement of the vignettes, listed varieties comprising 1½d SG 242h & i (in U/R corner block of 6), 2d SG 243g, 3d SG 244f h (in block of 4) & i and 1/- SG 245f, plus a few unlisted varieties, generally very fine with some of the varieties noted as being unmounted, Cat £1650+. 1935 Silver Jubilee 2d deep blue & carmine Frame Printed Double (One Albino) SG 242b, with excellent centring, unmounted, Cat £1000. Superb! [With inclined light, the albino impression is most obvious in the top margin where '1910-1935' appears to the upper-left of the printed inscription]
1935 Silver Jubilee 1/- slate & purple Frame Printed Double (One Albino) SG 245a, excellent centring, unmounted, Cat £1600. Superb! RPSofL Certificate (1994). [With inclined light, the albino impression is quite obvious, being 1½mm lower & a similar distance to the left of the printed impression]
