2009 First National Philatelic Pub Crawl cover (230x162mm) with 'P' stamps featuring a full beer glass ('RAISE THE ROOF...') & then a skulled (empty) glass ('I SURVIVED...') tied by the infamous 'ONE/BASTARD/FIRKIN' pictorial datestamp, signed by noted philatelic imbibers including Martin Walker, John Walker, Arthur Bergen, John Bell, David Figg, Steve Meharry and Richard Breckon. The cover features a thoroughly sloshed vagrant who bears more than a passing resemblance to [CENSORED]. [Proceeds to the SA Philatelic Council]

POSTAL FISCALS: Selection including 1863-80 mint 2/6d & 5/- sage-green, used 2/6d (2) & 10/- salmon & three reprint pairs, 1880 Platypus 1d to 6d mint + set postally used, 1900 'REVENUE' Opts 6d mint & £1 mint & postally used, some other values fiscally used & some later revenues including mint 'REVENUE' Opts 1d on 3d Overprint Inverted (2 different, no gum), 5d on 10/- & 4d on £1. POSTAL FISCALS: 1900 'REVENUE' Overprints 2/6d Imperforate Pair SG F32c, the left-hand unit touched in a couple of places, the right-hand unit margins close to huge, postally used with 'CLEVELAND/NO26/00/ TASMANIA' cds, Cat £600+ mint; unpriced used.
REVENUES: On document fragments comprising St George & the Dragon 5/- sage green strip of 3 with 1897 pen cancels and optd 'REVENUE' 5/- olive-brown strip of 3 with 1902 pen cancels; Tablets 10/- strips of 3 (2) plus 2/6d with 1899 pen cancels, and overprinted 'REVENUE' £1 block of 4 plus pair (one unit damaged) with 1946 pen cancels; Numerals rouletted £1 rose-carmine strip of 3 plus 10/- apple-green & 2/6d with 24/12/53 pen cancels [This may be an ERD for the 10/-, both Craig & Elsmore give the issue date as 1954]. 1901 two underpaid commercial covers 1) from Victoria with Pictorial 2d in lieu of Postage Due tied by Scottsdale cds; & 2) from NSW officially registered with Stamp Duty 6d Platypus in lieu of Postage Due cancelled in pencil. Scarce duo. (Qty 2)
1884-1900 Ultra-High Values Typo £50 SG 290, CTO AU18/00, large-part o.g., Cat £325.
STELLALAND: 1884 Arms 1d pen-cancelled, 2d (Perf 13½) to 6d with large-part o.g. & 1/- unused, Cat £450+; also Revenues 2/6d & 5/- Barefoot #5 & 6, large-part o.g., Cat £60. Offered "as is". (Qty 7)
REVENUES: Bundle of KGV stamped paper with values to 10r (3), 25r (7) & 100r (3), condition well above normal for these; Insurance No Wmk 10k block of 8 used; also mint Savings Stamps - not in Barefoot - 1949 1r perforated proof block of 4 & block of 9 of the issued stamp, 1954 low value & 1r blocks of 4, and three other values in blocks of 80 (toned & some faults).
REVENUES: Early Garlanded Lion series comprising five between 2th, 10th, 50th vertical pair, 5pi, 10pi & 12pi and two with no value (or Amharic value only) on various coloured papers, a bit aged, unused. Rare. [Our vendor states "I can't find any record of these anywhere...a comprehensive listing on the Internet starts with the Italian Colony period". REVENUES: c.1948 Government Savings Bank Savings Stamp 6d scarlet perforated plate proof on ungummed Script paper with 'SPECIMEN' perfin, 'BW ARCHIVES' handstamp on the reverse. Unissued. Ex Bradbury Wilkinson Archives and stated to be unique!
