C of A KANGAROOS - 1st Watermark
1d red Die IIA Curved Flaw from Top Frame through 'U' to Cape Leveque Pope #UCV83, 'KERANG/VIC' cds largely clear of the flaw; and a second example with a very similar but wider & more vertical flaw that intersects the map further to the south, 'RED HILL' (SA) cds again largely clear of the flaw which is not noted by Pope: see pages 348-9. An interesting pair. Reasonable offers considered.
1d red Die IIA Cracked Electro ("The Big Scratch" Late State) BW #4Gia, perfectly centred, Hobart machine cancellation hardly impinges on the flaw, undercatalogued at $300 (2004): acquired for $756 at our auction of 26/9/2003. An excellent example of this enormous flaw.
