NEW SOUTH WALES
1905-10 Chalk-Surfaced Paper ½d Type 2 & 2d on NSW Avis de Réception Form (168x216mm) to Natal, pinholes from where the form was attached to the outgoing registered cover, 'PIETERMARITZBURG/NATAL' cds on both the form and the stampless OHMS Envelope (endorsed "AR Form") returned to NSW, minor faults. Very few AR Forms have survived with their return envelopes.
1907 Emergency Printings on Victorian V/Crown Paper 2½d deep blue SG 356 (BW #N22) partly-severed horizontal pair tied to double-rate commercial cover to the United States by two of three strikes of the scarce 'TPO 1 NORTH/DOWN.../ 2 /NSW' cds, the stamps with exceptional centring, the cover creased at left & minor blemishes, Cat £240+ x12+ ($600+; unpriced on cover). Offered "as is" because we cannot confirm that the stamps are from the 1907 Emergency Printing. The estimate reflects the TPO usage.
1904-11 Thick 'POSTAGE' Crown/SA 8d ultramarine SG 285 tied to OHMS cover to Paris by 'REGISTERED ADELAIDE/SA' squared-circle, 'R'-in-oval handstamp, Paris arrival backstamp, minor blemishes. A scarce franking paying 2½d x2 + 3d registration.
1907 commercial usage to England of PPC ("George Town, Ascension, from Mail Boat") with GB KEVII 1d tied by 21mm cds; and 1913 Hawkins philatelic cover to England with GB KEVII De La Rue ½d single & Harrison ½d 'A 11' Control strip of 3 tied by 23mm cds; minor blemishes.
1902 stampless OHMS cover to Germany (b/s) with 'Post Office/Bermuda' imprint at lower-left & 'HIS' handstamp over 'HER' in the header. Superb!
BRITISH LEVANT - Overprints on Great Britain
1904-13 selection of PPCs & mostly commercial covers with various GB or Surcharged values. Includes 40pa on 2½d with hooded Beyrouth d/s, 40pa on 2½d to Egypt with Egyptian Postage Due 2m tied by 'HILWAN' cds, 1¼pi on 3d & 1¾pi on 4d orange on registered cover to the USA, 1pi30pa on 4d green & brown + 'LEVANT; ½d on registered cover to Switzerland, 1¾pi on 4d orange + 'LEVANT' 2d on registered cover to the USA, etc, generally fine. 1911 usage of formular Registration Envelope (unusual size 181x127mm) to England with scarce albeit philatelic franking of KEVII ½d pair, 1d, 2d x2, 2½d strip of 3 & 1/- all tied by double-circle 'FALKLAND/+ ISLANDS +' cds, blue/white 'Falkland Islands' registration label, minor soiling.
1904-14 commercially used Registration Envelopes 1) GB 2d overprinted 'GOLD COAST COLONY' size F to Germany with ½d & 1d pair tied by 'OBUASSI' cds; 2) KEVII 1d+2d size G with 1d tied by 'QUITTAH/[crown]' & mss registration endorsement; & 3) KEVII 1d+2d size F with 'NSAWAN' cds & 'NSAWAM' registration handstamp; minor blemishes. TREATY PORTS - Foochow: 1906 cover to London with KEVII 1c single & irregular block of 6 tied by 'FOOCHOW' cds, superb 'R'-in-circle handstamp, 'JOHN GITTINS & Co/FOOCHOW' sender's cachet in violet at lower-left, Hong Kong transit & London arrival backstamp. Superb!
TREATY PORTS Port Edward(Wei Hai Wei)/Liu Kung Tau: 1905-10 usages of Japanese PPCs with KEVII 4c tied by 1) boxed 'PORT EDWARD/WEI-HAI-WEI' datestamp in violet; 2) 22mm 'LIU KUNG TAU' cds; or 3) 24½mm 'LIU KUNG TAU' cds. A very fine trio (Qty 3)

1913 Auckland Exhibition ½d green SG 412 pair & block of 4 (the upper-right unit slightly damaged on opening) tied to an apparently commercial registered cover by Wellington cds, Lower Hutt arrival backstamp, a couple of minor blemishes, Cat £330 x2+. A handsome cover.
1907 & 1909 commercial covers to the United States 1) OHMS cover with the header scored-through, with BCA 1d strip of 3 tied by 'ZOMBA/BCA' squared-circles, 'CHINDE/BCA' transit backstamp, ironed-out crease through the stamps; and 2) with Nyasaland 3d tied by 'BLANTYRE NYASALAND' squared-circle.
