1905-10 Chalk-Surfaced Paper d Type 2 & 2d on NSW Avis de Rception Form (168x216mm) to Natal, pinholes from where the form was attached to the outgoing registered cover, 'PIETERMARITZBURG/NATAL' cds on both the form and the stampless OHMS Envelope (endorsed "AR Form") returned to NSW, minor faults. Very few AR Forms have survived with their return envelopes.

SOUTH GEORGIA: 1912 Lawson cover to England with OHMS header scored-through & partly obscured by KEVII 1d dull coppery red SG 44d strip of 3 paying 1d postage + 2d registration and tied by good to fine strikes of the double-circle 'SOUTH/GEORGIA' cds, blue/white 'SOUTH GEORGIA' registration label, wax seal across the flap with a fine strike of the 'SOUTH/[crown]/GEORGIA' mailbag seal, minor blemishes and folded at either end to facilitate display, London & Liverpool backstamps. A very scarce franking. BPA Certificate (1991) as the then SG 48 states "...1d dull coppery red...is genuine; not a pronounced example of the shade".
