TURKISH CURRENCY: 1906 Beirut Emergency Surcharge on Great Britain KEVII '1 Piastre' on 2d SG 15, very lightly mounted, Stanley Gibbons guarantee handstamp, Cat £1300. RPSofL Certificate (1983). [Only two sheets - 480 stamps - were overprinted]
TURKISH CURRENCY: 1911-13 Surcharges on Great Britain KEVII '24 PIASTRES' on 5/- with Surcharge Double One Albino SG 34a, exceptional centring, Cat £300. RPSofL Certificate (1997).
1906 Overprints/Surcharges on Labuan 1c to 'TEN CENTS' on 16c (ex 'FIVE CENTS' on 16c) all with Feather on 'B' of 'LABUAN' SG 11b (in marginal pair with a normal stamp), 12c, 13c, 14a, 15a (superb), 17a (superb) & 18a, some values with characteristic gum-loss as a result of adhering to the waxed interleaving, Cat £2600. [The Gibbons descriptor "Line through B" is rather bland. As our enlargement shows, the flaw is evocative of an American Indian brave's eagle feather] (Qty 7)

NEWFOUNDLAND: 1911 Recess Printed 8c 'MOSQUITO' Imperforate Horizontal Pair SG 112var (Unitrade #99a), margins good to large, very lightly mounted, Cat $C350 for "Fine". Unlisted by Gibbons. RPSofL Certificate (1973) states "genuine proof status". However, the Unitrade Catalogue lists no proofs for this issue.
NEWFOUNDLAND: 1911 Recess Printed 10c Paper Mills Imperforate Horizontal Pair SG 114var (Unitrade #101a), large even margins, unmounted, Cat $C400 for "Very Fine" (+50% for unmounted = $C600). Unlisted by Gibbons. Superb.
1902-03 KEVII Wmk CA ½d green with Dented Frame below the First 'A' of 'CAYMAN' SG 3a, very lightly mounted, Cat £200. For all values, the "Dented Frame" - also known as the "Glover Flaw" - occurred at position L1/6 on the sheet. Of the ½d, only 309 sheets were printed, with the variety appearing once on each sheet.
