VICTORIA LAND: 1911-13 Overprints on New Zealand "Penny Dominion" 1d carmine SG A3 block of 4, a few characteristic rough perforations, unmounted, Cat £220++.
1919 Native Currency Overprints on KGV 2½d to 1/- Two Perfs marginal blocks of 4 SG 48b-55b complete, plus 7½d Plate Number '24' upper-left corner block of 4 (light gum-bend), unmounted, Cat £400++. Ex J Edgar Williams. [NB: the 7½d was not issued in two perfs]
1921-23 Overprints on QV Postal Fiscals De La Rue/"Roughways" Paper 2/- blue with the Overprint in Carmine SG 76b marginal block of 4 from the base of the sheet, the gum a little streaked but unmounted, Cat £680++. Ex J Edgar Williams. RPSofL Certificate (1970).

1935 commercial cover to New Zealand with rare franking of Silver Jubilee Overprints 2d pair + Undated 1d tied by Rabaul cds, registration h/s in black. [At London 2010 an exhibit of Pacific Jubilee issues had no commercial New Guinea cover]
WORLD WAR II: 1945 (Feb-Aug) stampless covers from New Zealand airmen at Momote, all with 'RNZAF/ G / NZAPO' cds, various Censor h/s in blue, violet or red. Very scarce. (Qty 4)
WORLD WAR II: 1945 commercial usage to USA of New Zealand Forces formular aerogramme with 'RNZAF/ G / NZAPO' cds used at Los Negros (Manus Island) & superb boxed censor h/s in violet, message headed "Dental Section/RNZAF/NZAPO 338". Very scarce.
1857-1930s collection on leaves with imperforate 6d Chalons (2, one with fine BN '1' of Melbourne), perforated Chalons including 1d brown (11, including two strips of 3 and a pair), 3d lilac (7), 6d brown (6), 6d blue (2), First Sidefaces to 1/- including 4d pair, Second Sidefaces to 1/- (2) with a few adverts, Pictorials mint & used to 9d (4, two *), 1/- (5, two *), 2/- (3, one *) & 5/- (3, one * & one postally used) plus Reduced Sizes 3d, 6d (2) & 1/- *, Christchurch & Auckland sets *, KEVII & KGV definitives to 1/- *, 2d Smiling Boy *, also King Edward VII Land 1d x2 used, mixed condition with some mint stamps heavily mounted, high catalogue value. Range of Chalons imperf to 1/- (2) & perf to 1/- (2) including 2d with large-part 'HEADQUARTERS' cancel & a somewhat oxidised 4d rose, a few Sidefaces & Pictorials including 3d Bird block of 4 with ''FANNING ISLAND' cds, plus a couple of postally used QV postal fiscals, condition variable. (Qty 54)
1855 London Printings 2d dull blue on bluish paper SG 2, good even margins, neat '9' cancel of New Plymouth, Cat £650. Superb!
1855-57 Blue Paper 1d red SG 4, margins good to large, light numeral cancellation, Cat £1800. [Joseph Hackmey's very fine single sold for $US2350 in 2009]
1857-63 No Watermark Imperf 2d deep ultramarine SG 8a, margins close to good, untidy '10' cancel of Wellington, Cat £900. [Many examples of this shade are not correctly identified. Most genuine examples were used at Wellington]
1857-63 No Watermark Imperf 2d pale blue SG 9, margins close to large, apparently unused, Cat £1100.
1857-63 No Watermark - Imperf 2d blue SG 10 horizontal pair, large even margins except at right where close to a little cut-into; and 6d brown SG 13, margins good to large, tiny closed tear in the margin at the top; Cat £660+. There is an error in the description - the 6d brown is in fact Wmk Large Star SG 43 - the estimate has been reduced accordingly.
1857-63 No Watermark Imperf 6d pale brown SG 14, margins good to large, light numeral cancel, Cat £300. Superb! BPA Certificate (1992).
