HEALTH STAMPS: 1930 Smiling Boys 1d+1d Royal Mint Die Proof in black on highly surfaced paper (65x91mm), manuscript '20/VIII' in upper right corner. Superb! An important exhibition item for one of New Zealand's iconic issues.

1890s hand-written but not completed pro forma "Bill of Health" that states "I certify that good health is enjoyed in this Island without any suspicion of plague, cholera, or contagious distemper whatsoever", large bright blue wafer with impressed 'US CONSULAR AGENCY/[coat of arms]/NORFOLK ISLAND', horizontal fold & minor blemishes.
1930 cover to "Richard Edgar Christian/Pitcairn Island" with KGV 2d & New Zealand 1d+1d Nurse tied by very fine 'NORFOLK ISLAND/AUSTRALIA' cds, superb 'PITCAIRN ISLAND/NZ POSTAL AGENCY' arrival b/s, minor spotting. [The addressee was a direct descendant of Fletcher Christian of the "Bounty" fame]
