1914 commercial double-rate cover to "Canal Zone/Panama/Cent America" with Kangaroos First Wmk 1d red & 4d orange tied by Goulburn (NSW) cds, 'EMPIRE CZ/RECD' arrival b/s, minor blemishes. Excellent destination.
1914 (Dec 5) cover to the USA with Kangaroo ½d & Engraved 1d pair tied by Melbourne machine cancel & 'PASSED' h/s in violet. [The ACSC gives a price of $300 for an Engraved 1d solo franking]
1915 (Oct 20) cover to the USA with KGV 1d strip of 3 (overpaid ½d) tied by 'THURSDAY ISLAND/ 2 ' cds & scarce black/white 'OPENED BY CENSOR' tape used on the Island.
1916 usage to London of Donaghy & Sons Ropemakers cover with all-over illustration on the face, KGV 1d red tied by Geelong machine cancel, ironed-out vertical fold. The first example we have seen.
1917 OHMS covers to the USA with 'OS/NSW' perfins 1) Roos 2½d & 3d or 2) Roos 2d & 3d + KGV ½d green, Sydney red & black/white registration labels. (Qty 2)
1917 large piece from a parcel addressed to a soldier in France (?) with remarkable franking of KGV 1d red (defective) & 4d yellow-orange + Kangaroos Third Wmk 2/- brown (defective) all with 'OS' perfin & tied by Melbourne cds.
