1952-1982 Collection in Seven Seas album including 1952 £1 Fisherman (3, two optd 'SPECIMEN'), plus decimals 1966-1982 largely complete; and New Guinea 1932 Redrawn Birds 2/- to 10/- ** & £1 used.
1994 Emergency Surcharges complete blocks of 4 SG 730-740, Cat £900+. (Qty 11)
POSTAL CHARGES: 1960 (March) 6d with 'IXIXIXIXIX' on 7½d blue SG D1, with none of the characteristic toning that bedevils this stamp, very lightly mounted, Cat £800. RPSofV Certificate (2011).

Commercial covers including 1951 air to GB with Federation 1/6d, 1950s surface to USA from Kundiawa with 7½d Huts, 1954 & 1961 air to GB with 6 stamps for 2/- rate or 9 stamps for 2/3d rate, 1957 concessional air to Victoria with 1956 Olympics from a sailor on Manus Island, 1966 to Australia with very fine 'RABAUL AIRPORT' cds, 10t Pope PSE registered from Bogia, a few philatelic including 1957 Surcharges on printed FDC & 1966 'RABAUL AIRPORT' opening day, four Aerogrammes & an unused 1/0½d Registration Envelope. 1946-51 annotated study of mail from Higaturu with 1946 'RELIEF No 5' cds (registered), cds with small letters x8 (five are commercial, including inwards stampless cover with Australia 2d & 3d affixed in lieu of Postage Dues), 'POSTAL DEPT A1' on OHMS cover, cds with large letters x5 (four are commercial including large parcel piece sent 19 days before the town was destroyed), covers noted as carried by runner to Port Moresby (6), by runner to Ioma (3), by sea per coastal shipping (1), or by air from Popondetta (4). Interesting lot. [Higaturu was totally destroyed by an eruption of Mount Lamington 20-21/1/1951. The volcano had been assessed as dormant. Thousands of mostly Papuan natives are believed to have died] (Qty 15 covers)
