New Zealand WWII 'SIX PENCE' on 1/- POW Aerogramme to Germany, internal fault; Papua 2½d Monocolour on OHMS cover to Paris, two vertical folds; & NSW 1877 fine cover with De La Rue 2d & RPSofL Certificate (1980) that states the stamp is the then SG 210aa with 'TWO PENCE' Double Impression at Right (that nobody can see, even when the impression is greatly enlarged!!) 1919 (Aug 25) usage to the Netherlands of KGV 4d orange Registration Envelope with Red Star on the Reverse uprated with Kangaroo 2d grey (faults) tied by Sydney cds, red/white registration label with scarce "R with rat's tail" variety, 'ZEIST' arrival b/s. Ex Kevin Nelson.
1929 uprated 1d Postal Card used as an Around the World card with message in Esperanto, sent to Russia, then to Algeria, then to Japan & finally returned to Melbourne, with all the appropriate stamps & postmarks. A very late example of this whimsical practice that was routinely suppressed by postal authorities.

1911 commercial usage of 1911 Coronation 1d Postal Card (Prince of Wales with oakleaves & anchors) to Germany with WA ½d green tied by 'NOGGERUP' cds.
1914 (July 28) usage of NSW 3d Registration Envelope uprated with First Wmk 3d olive Die I tied by Wagga Wagga cds, to the Philatelic Society of Victoria. [The rate was 1d x3 + 3d registration: the packet may have contained an approvals book]

AEROGRAMMES: Pre-decimals unused group including 1944 7d on Yellow Paper (vertical fold), 'TEN PENCE' on 7d & 10d Constellation both with 'SPECIMEN' opt in red, etc, also 1968 Defence Forces 5c and a dozen different cancelled on First Day of Issue including 1956 Olympics, fine to very fine. (Qty 28)
ENVELOPES: 1924 KGV "Star" 'THREE/HALFPENCE' on 2d orange with 'POSTAGE' ASC E13, flap fault that in no way detracts from the very fine appearance of this great rarity, 'OAKLEIGH/530P 22MY24/VIC' cds, grossly undercatalogued at $1500. Ex Charlie Fawcett, Julie Resch, John Sinfield & Kevin Nelson: acquired for $8960 at our auction of 20/11/2004. [Only one other example has been recorded. The Victorian Philatelic Record Feb 1924 stated only 6 examples were issued!! For two of the 6 to survive is a philatelic miracle!]

POSTAL STATIONERY: Superior group with 1838 Sydney GPO embossed lettersheet (reprint), Postal Cards uprated 1d with German Consulate h/s, Scenic 1d x2 (one used in South Australia), & 1½d with scarce 'COCKLE CREEK' arrival cds, 1½d Letter Card with Rays 388' & 'WINDELLAMA' cds, Envelopes x3, PTPO Envelopes 1d for Civil Service Stores & 2d for Foreign Agency Co, finally 2d embossed essay five impressions in black, generally fine to very fine.
