1856-58 Adelaide Printings 1d deep yellow-green SG 5, margins good to large with a fragment of the adjoining unit at right, lightly cancelled, Cat £550. RPSofV Certificate (2011) states, somewhat perversely, "ink marks on reverse having been cleaned".

(Qty 13)
1886-96 'POSTAGE & REVENUE' Perf 14 plate proofs in lilac 2/6d with value in blue & 5/- with value in scarlet, blocks of 10 (5x2) on ungummed unwatermarked paper from the lower-left of the sheets each with Plate Number '1', virtually full unmounted o.g. with most units being unmounted. [Ed Williams stated that only one sheet of 60 of each value was perforated. These are probably the largest surviving blocks. Jeff Harris's blocks of 4 sold for $529 at our auction of 23/9/2011] (Qty 2 blocks)
1886-96 'POSTAGE & REVENUE' Perf 10 2/6d to £20 SG 195-208 complete with 12½mm 'SPECIMEN' Overprint, very fresh colours but a few minor blemishes, all but the 10/- with large-part o.g. [These stamps are from the original printings. They are much scarcer than the later Specimen overprints normally encountered on stamps that were reprinted for UPU distribution. Superior to Jeff Harris's set that sold for $719 at our auction of 23/9/2011] (Qty 13)
1886-96 'POSTAGE & REVENUE' Perf 11½-12½ 2/6d to £20 including the very scarce £5 brown (15mm Opt) all with 12½mm 'SPECIMEN' overprint, characteristic rough perfs, all with large-part o.g., Cat £800. An unusually fine set. [Excepting the £5 brown, these stamps were reprinted for the specific purpose of being overprinted 'SPECIMEN'] (Qty 14)
1886-96 'POSTAGE & REVENUE' Perf 11½-12½ 5/- to £1 SG 196a-199a, the 5/- with Double Perfs at Left & the 15/- with large-part o.g., CTO with double-circle Adelaide cds, Cat £400. [Perforation errors in this series are rarely seen, a point made by Ed Williams] (Qty 5)
1886-96 'POSTAGE & REVENUE' Perf 11½-12½ £5 brown SG 205, CTO with large-part o.g, Cat £800. [Ed Williams' & Jeff Harris's examples sold for $1120 & $1322 respectively]
1886-96 'POSTAGE & REVENUE' Perf 11½-12½ £15 silver SG 207a, exceptional metallic lustre, characteristic rough perforations, CTO with large-part o.g., Cat £1500. [The high values exist in very small numbers. Of the £15, we are aware of two mint examples. There are probably about 30 CTO examples, making this stamp scarcer than the oveprinted 'O.S.' 2/6d & 5/- SG O86-87. Ed Williams' example sold for $1624]
1902-04 Thin 'POSTAGE' 3d olive-green marginal example from the right of the sheet Imperforate at Right BW #S19b (SG 268var), lightly mounted, Cat $1750.
1902-04 Thin 'POSTAGE' 1/- brown with 'POSTAGE' & 'ONE SHILLING' in Brown-Red BW #S30A (SG 275c), a very obvious example of the bicolour printing, a few short perfs, 'REGISTERED ADELAIDE/SA' squared-circle, Cat $2000 (£900). [The ACSC states "Postally used is scarcer than mint"]
1902-04 Thin 'POSTAGE' 10/- green Plate Number '1' single from the left of the sheet BW #S33z or zb (SG 278var) with unlisted Bullet Hole through Neck variety, minor perf reinforcing, Cat $1200 (for a corner pair).
