JAMBOREES: 1938 Australasian Jamboree Bradfield group with the cloth badge, two different Jamboee PPCs both with the steel hexagonal d/s, and black & yellow labels complete sheet of 15 (unmounted, stated to be "very rare") & vertical strip of 3 (*, minor blemishes). (Qty 6 items)
JAMBOREES: Opening Day cover with two very fine strikes of the steel hexagonal d/s & commemorative registration label 'No 31', a couple of minor tonespots.
JAMBOREES: the registration receipt for the previous item, with superb strike of the very scarce rubber version of the datestamp in violet.
JAMBOREES: registered Jamboree cover with two superb strikes of the steel d/s of 5JA39, minor blemishes.
JAMBOREES: OHMS cover with superb strike of the rubber hexagonal 'AUSTRALASIAN SCOUT JAMBOREE/1JAN1939/ BRADFIELD NSW AUSTRALIA' d/s & 2-line Jamboree h/s both in violet. Rare. [A similar cover of 29DEC1938 sold for $1380 at our auction of 29/3/2008]
JAMBOREES: 1952 Pan-Pacific Jamboree Greystanes collection with 3½d maroon three blocks of 4 affected by a thread having adhered to the sheet, Jamboree Opening Day cover & aerial photograph of the opening ceremony, Jamboree cloth badge, partly-handpainted cover by Eric Ogden, another handpainted with 'GREYSTAINS' error, other covers by Arthur Bergen, Bob Haslem, Rex Bodin & ACM Guthrie etc, Bank of NSW PPC, etc. (Qty 50 items)
JAMBOREES: 3½d die proof in maroon in sunken card with 'CBA/NOTE PRINTING/BRANCH/("18/20.10.52")' cachet in violet on the reverse, Cat $3500. Superb! A key item for any collection of Scout stamps. [Only 8 such die proofs were prepared, of which two are in institutional collections. #18 was presented to the Governor-General Sir William McKell]

WORLD WAR II CENSORED MAIL: New South Wales group with red/white 'OPENED BY CENSOR' labels comprising text only #L2-2 x2 (one from China); Two Dots Added #L2-3a; No Dots but '2'-with-Serifs Added #L2-5 (Large '2') x2 one being an entire half-label on reverse of cover, #L2-6a1 ('2' to 'O' = 9mm), #L2-6c1 ('2' to 'O' = 13mm) & unlisted wide sub-type 112x18mm for use on aerogrammes; with Sans Serif '2' #L2-8 x2 (one with '2' three times due to misguillotining of the labels); and red/yellow Upper & Lower Case #L2-11 for use on aerogrammes x2 (2, one on the scarce blue/yellow aerogramme); various usages including two "Clipper" covers. WORLD WAR II CENSORED MAIL: New South Wales range with Not Opened group including diamond ' 2 /NOT/OPENED BY/CENSOR' Little #H2-9a, '2'-in-circle #H2-15 x2 (one with unknown 'MFAWC/TV' h/s), and machine type #H2-10 on reverse x2; straight-line 'RELEASED BY CENSOR' #H2-6 (one in red-purple, not listed) on two airmail covers to GB; diamond ' 2 /RETURN/TO/SENDER' #H2-16a in red on surface cover to GB; and unframed numerals #H2-12 '3' (on airmail cover from Cuba endorsed "Written in German"), '27' x2 (both covers sealed with half-labels on the reverse) & '39' believed applied by censor-supervisors; condition variable. PRISONERS OF WAR: real photo PPCs (a couple are photos only) of German POWs in various Camp theatrical productions highlighted by the remarkable quality of the costumes, also the programme for 1918 (March) production of "Rosenmontag" including a photo of the cast & crew; plus a badly damaged photo of two officers & 18 soldiers - a dissolute crew - with non-contemporary caption "Liverpool Camp".
