[No unused multiples, and only about 10 singles, are recorded, of which two are in the Royal Collection. This is a larger stamp than Bernie Manning's very fine example that sold for $16,675 at our auction of 12/5/2007]

1896-1902 Figures in the Lower Corners Only 6d yellow-green BW #Q42A (SG 230), characteristic rough perforations & a few trimmed perfs at upper-left, neat '[PARCEL] POST/..AUG02/[BRISBANE]' cds which is found on most examples, Cat $35,000(16,000). The rarest face-different stamp of the entire Commonwealth Period. [The ACSC states that 16 examples are recorded, which puts this stamp in almost the same class of rarity as Western Australia's famous 4d with Inverted Frame. All examples are used. The ACSC also states "Many of the stamps show defects of various sorts". At least 3 fine examples have each sold for $30,000+]
