2.2b 21˝mm 'T.P.O.E.G.F/ 3 /JA30/01/WA' two good strikes tying 4d Swan to Bennie Tear & Co Coolgardie advertising envelope (all-over illustration on the reverse) to Melbourne (b/s). Rare provincial advertising cover. [Stated to be the only cover with a WA TPO cds cancelling a stamp]
2.3 24mm 'T.P.O-E.G/JA22/03/W.A' superb strike on face of uprated 1d Postal Card from Kalgoorlie to 'SINGAPORE' (very fine arrival cds), light toning. [The letter from CAW Chappell, agreeing to exchange stamps "no unused stamp to be mounted". A man ahead of his time!]
