JAMBOREES: 1973-80 10th to 12th Jamborees single volume collection with Woodhouse including a beautiful Jack Peake handpainted cover, Postal Order with 'RELIEF/ 70 ' cds etc; Dandenong including registered Nomad flight cover (only 50 flown), four different postcards by John Barnes (Texas); Perth including registered cover with 'NO 109' relief cds used 2 days before the Jamboree opened. (Qty 98 items)
JAMBOREES: etching (280x250mm) of Woodhouse Homestead on thick artpaper, signed "AJ PEAKE". Stated only 2 or 3 prints were made. Would look great framed.
CORROBOREES: 1936-93 single-volume collection with Belair including "Twinkler's Bulletin No 1", original photograph of the entrance, cloth badge, "Come over!" label sheet of 12 (4 upper units **, the lower section no gum & a couple of faults), cds on black/pink Corroboree postcard (creased) & on Gower illustrated cover, etc; Greenbank cds on plain cover & unaddressed Corroboree cover, and very rare inwards cover; Hobart cds on 6 covers (2 registered); Lang Lang Rocket Despatch card number '001' of only 10 flown & signed "Henry Winnecke" plus covers '001' & '163' of 163 carried; etc. (Qty Qty)
CORROBOREES: 1936 Belair plain cover with two very fine strikes of the 'SCOUT CENTENARY CORROBOREE/26DE36/BELAIR SA' Opening Day cds & commemorative registration label 'No 17' that partly obscures a Corroboree label. [A very similar cover 'No 46' sold for $977 at our auction of 19/10/2007]

Consignment balance with a bundle of 1930s-1960s advertising covers including a few better ones, 1/2d Thylacine on five philatelic PPCs to UK, etc, also 1918 Australian Railway Operating Co illustrated Christmas card & a page of South Australian squared-circles.
1929 illustrated advertising cover for PW Richards Engineer Adelaide to England with SMult Wmk Perf 13½x12½ 3d & 4½d, red/white registration label (defective). [The rate was 1½d postage + 3d internal airmail + 3d registration]
1946 commercial airmail cover to Dutch Military Attaché in Brisbane readdressed to Batavia where again twice readdressed, once with a small yellow label with 'VELDPOSTKANTOOR' on the reverse.

MILITARY CAMP & RAAF POST OFFICES: Extensive alphabetical collection in four volumes with a high percentage of commercial and official mail but also many philatelic covers, includes almost 100 registered covers, only a small percentage are post-WWII. Lots of very desirable items including boxed 'RAAF 5200/AUSTRALIA' in violet of RAAF Ascot Vale, 'MIL PO CABARLAH' registered, 'PMGS DEPT A3' relief cds "tied" by 'MILITARY PO/CANUNGRA QLD' label, 'RAAF 4101' & similarly inscribed registration label of Deniliquin, 'MIL PO FISHERMANS BEND' (philatelic), rubber 'MIL PO/GRETA NSW', 'MIL PO HOLLYWOOD' & oval 'POSTMASTER/ HOLLYWOOD WA' on OHMS cover, previously unrecorded boxed 'RAAF PO/MILDURA' d/s (philatelic), 'RAAF PO NHILL' registered, ' EY /NSW' relief & provisional 'TAMWORTH' label with mss "MIL PO" added Opening Day cover (philatelic), 'RAAF PO WESTERN JUNCTION' registered (philatelic), 'WAAAF PO WEST MELBOURNE' etc etc, also some pieces including with rare datestamps, condition variable but generally fine. Attractive mix mostly used including New South Wales Sydney Views 1d (faults), 2d (2) & 3d, Laureates 1d including brick red pair SG 48 (stain at left), 2d (7), 1885 'POSTAGE' 5/- (*) & 10/- optd 'SPECIMEN' SG 241as, plus Officials 1887 'POSTAGE' 10/- optd 'Specimen' (2); South Australia 2d red strip of 4 SG 9; Tasmania 1857-8 Wmk Numerals 6d & 1/-, 1892 5/- SG 223 (*); Victoria Queen-on-Throne 2d pair used, Woodblocks 6d (shaved at top) & 2/- SG 32 & 35 used; Western Australia 1874 1d on 2d SG 67, 1882 Crown CA 4d unused, mixed condition. Quality range of Imperf Classics comprising NSW Sydney Views 2d x2 & 3d (on piece), Laureates 2d x6 (one on small cover), Diadems 2d strip of 3 & 3d x2; South Australia London 6d, Adelaide 2d x2 & a lovely 1d but dubious because of 1862 cds; Tasmania Star Wmk 1d & 2d both repaired, Numeral Wmk 2d unused, 2d single & pair, 4d single & pair; Victoria Half-Lengths 1d x4 & 3d x7 (one on front with 6d Woodblock), Queen-on-Throne 2d x9 including a lovely strip of 5 (scissor-cut between two units) & Woodblock 2/-; and Western Australia 1854 4d & 1861 4d marginal example (unused); most with full margins & generally fine to very fine. Unused (?) group with Queensland 1d SG 4 (RPSofV Certificate states "cleaned"); South Australia London Printing 2d SG 2 (apparently very fine but RPSofV Certificate states "ironed-out vertical crease at right", Cat £600) & Adelaide Printings 2d x2; Tasmania Courier 4d (an absolute shocker!); Victoria Half-Lengths 1d x2, 2d (very lightly cancelled, RPSofV Certificate) & 3d, Queen-on-Throne 2d x2 & Woodblocks Imperf 6d; and Western Australia 2d orange (oxidised); all but the two noted are apparently unused but the condition is very mixed.
