Carton with a range of philatelic products, large bundle of modern FDCs including for M/Ss, an album of undenominated M/Ss ("Cinderellas"), etc, also some commercial mail including a few better items.
Bulging Hagner album with collection remainders including ranges of forgeries, "Cinderellas", Imperial & Republic issues, some early PRC issues that are probably all reprints, some blocks & part-sheets, etc etc. Lots of little nuggets to be uncovered.
1878-1963 collection in album with Imperial 1ca & 3ca Large Dragons, PRC with 1958 Kuan Han-ching M/S, 1978 Galloping Horses M/S, also Chinese Provinces Szechwan, Turkestan & Yunnan plus Taiwan, condition variable.
MUNICIPAL POSTS & FOREIGN POST OFFICES: Collection with a good range of Municipal Posts including Postage Dues & Surcharges; selections from the British, French, German, Italian & Russian Post Offices in China, condition variable. Pickings throughout.
IMPERIAL PERIOD: 1878-83 Large Dragons 1ca green x3, 3ca red x3 & 5ca orange x3 between SG 1 & 6, various shades & papers, generally well centred, mostly cancelled with Chinese "chops" but one 5ca has a 'CUSTOMS/SHANGHAI' cds, Cat £1700 (minimum). Personal inspection is strongly recommended.
IMPERIAL PERIOD: 1878-83 Large Dragons 5ca chrome-yellow SG 6, very well centred, 'CUSTOMS/MAR31/ ? /....NG' cds, Cat £750.
IMPERIAL PERIOD: 1885-88 Small Dragons 1ca green unused/mint x6 & used x11, 3ca mauve x8 & 5ca yellow x8 between SG 9 & 15, a good range of shades, condition a bit mixed, mostly with Chinese "chops", Cat £1100+ (minimum).
IMPERIAL PERIOD: 1897 New Currency Surcharges '1/cent' on 1ca vermilion with the Surcharge Inverted SG 38a, one pulled perf at left, neat "dollar chop" cancel, Cat £7500. A rare error. BPA Certificate (1965) as the then SG 57a.
IMPERIAL PERIOD: 1897 Overprints on "Red Revenues" 'one cent.' on 3c Type A x2 (one unused, the other with trimmed perfs at right) & Type B, and '2/cents.' on 3c SG 88 88a & 89, a couple of minor blemishes, Cat £2200.
IMPERIAL PERIOD: 1897 'IMPERIAL CHINESE POST' SG 96-105, duplicated selection with unused/mint to 10c x2, and used including 30c x3, 50c x2 & $1, one 4c with Double Perfs at Right, condition variable, some postmark interest, Cat £1200+.
IMPERIAL PERIOD: 1898-1906 'CHINESE IMPERIAL POST' duplicated array from the 1898, 1900-06 and 1905-10 New Colours & Values sets with a smattering of mint/unused including the 1905-10 set, then used to $1 x4, $2 x3 & $5 x2, condition variable but generally good to fine, some postmark interest. Research opportunities.

IMPERIAL PERIOD: 1898 'CHINESE IMPERIAL POST' 1c to $1 SG SG 108-117, also $2 heavilly cancelled, $2 with tiny 'SPECIMEN' Overprint, & $5 used, a few minor blemishes but generally fine to very fine, the unused all with large-part o.g., Cat £1200+ (not including the 'SPECIMEN' stamp).
IMPERIAL PERIOD: 1904 'POSTAGE DUE' Overprints 1c mint, 5c unused & 10c superb unmounted, two used sets plus extras to 10c & a superb 5c block of 4, 1904 Waterlow Postage Dues SG D143-150 two used sets plus extras to 20c, a few problems but generally fine to very fine, Cat £700+; also 'CHINESE POST OFFICE/EXPRESS LETTER' label & two 'EXPRESS/DELIVERY/SENDER'S RECEIPT' labels.
IMPERIAL PERIOD: 1905-10 New Colours & Values 5c deep purple SG 154a block of 6 (2x3), well centred, unmounted, Cat £150++ (mounted). Pristine!
REPUBLICAN PERIOD: 1912 Overprints duplicated selection between SG 172 & 232 with Hankow Nanking & Changsha Overprints 1c SG 184 & $1 SG 189 (Cat £4500; offered "as is"), other types to $1 x3 & $2 with a smattering of unused/mint to 50c x2, condition variable but generally good to very fine.

REPUBLICAN PERIOD: 1913-38 Definitives (Junk, Reaper & Hall of Classics) duplicated array with some mint to $1 x2 (one is superb) including Waterlow set to 50c, and used to $20 SG 332 x2 including 30c Bureau of Engraving imprint pair, $2 brown & blue blocks of 4 & 8, $5 black & red x3, and $10 rosy-mauve & green x3, lots of surcharges, condition variable but generally good to very fine.
