REGISTRATION ENVELOPES: Kedah 15c Sheaf of Wheat overprinted 'DAI NIPPON/2602' Tan #RE11 with 5c orange similarly overprinted x4 tied by light but very fine undated rubber 'ALOR STAR/KEDAH/2602/YUBIN KYOKU' cancellation (Proud #JD2) in blue, another strike ties the 'Alorstar' registration label to the reverse where there is also a light strike of the boxed 'A.R.' cachet - very worn - in blue, Japanese "chop" in violet, red wax seals on both sides, commercially used to Penang. Rare and superb!
