1966-75 Decimal Issuesannotated highly specialised collection with Coil Machine Tester strips, many varieties identified including 5c Wattle strip of 7 with Plain Paper Join, 7c strips with Autotrons Present, 7c with Buff Partly Omitted and with Buff & Green Omitted, official publicity cards for Floral 2c & 7c (+ QEII 7c) & 10c, good range of coil bands (no stamps atached), mostly unmounted.
C of A - Postage Dues
1931-37 CofA WmkPerf 11 3d carmine & yellow-green Ash Imprint ('N' over 'E A') block of 4 with tiny Frame Break over 'U' of 'AUSTRALIA' and 'RA' Joined ACSC #D118za, the upper units very lightly mounted & the lower units unmounted, Cat $1500+ (mounted).

ENVELOPES - MILITARY: 1916 (Aug) Second Issue 1d with 'AUSTRALIAN IMPERIAL FORCE.' at the Base but with the Text Re-Set & 'Regimental Number' now 35mm Long & 19mm Below the Printer's Rule ACSC #ME2 on buff stock unused, Cat $1500. Rare: the finest of the few examples we have seen. [The address on many examples of the initial issue was partly obscured if a machine cancellation was used; this problem was overcome by re-setting the text; this second issue was available for only one month & only two used examples have been recorded]

WRAPPERS - STAMPED TO ORDER: 1915 Sideface 1d red Die 2 ACSC #WS9 on surfaced pale buff stock for an unknown user, 'SYDNEY/----20/-22-' cds just clear of the Die 2 spur, Cat $2000. Rare. Ex Mark Diserio: sold at the Prestige auction of 8.11.2013 for $1322.

Collection on Hagners mostly from New South Wales including a few Laureates, Diadems including superb imperf 1d pair, perf 6d x13 (one with Double Perfs) 8d x4 & 1/- x3 (one Grossly Mis-Perforated), others including 'OS' Overprints & 'OS/NSW' perfins to 5/- Coin; also Western Australia with some better stamps, 'DUTY STAMP' 1d from the top of the sheet Imperf at the Top, etc; plus some Queensland & Victoria, condition variable.

1850-51 Sydney Views Plate II Worn Impressions 2d Prussian blue  with 'CREVIT' Omitted SG 26g, an enormous example from the lower-left of the sheet with margins large to huge with complete outer framelines except at right, very fine BN '88' cancel of Port Macquarie, Cat £650. Superb! [The central design is almost entirely absent. This means the variety is not evident. However, the stamp is definitely from the variety position R2/1]
1856-60 Imperforate Small DiademsLithographic Transfer 2d pale blue SG 118 horizontal pair, margins just shaved - at right - to large, the first unit a superb stamp with full margins, very fine strike of the ' E / AU3/1859/ SYDNEY - NSW' (sideways) duplex, Cat £1600++. A rare pair, remarkably cancelled on the First Day of Issue. Ex Guy Hutson (unrecognised in a mixed lot). RPSofV Certificate (2015).
1907 Emergency Printings on Victorian Crown/Double-Lined A Paper 2½d Prussian blue Die II BW #N22 (SG 356) marginal block of 18 (3x6) from the left of the sheet, the left column with Marginal Watermark 'OF AUSTRALIA', natural (?) crease across the top row, large-part o.g. with 12 units being unmounted, Cat $2700++ (£1260++). A rare & desirable multiple. Ex "Carrington" (Mark Dankin).
'OS' OVERPRINTS: 1882-85 Wmk '40' 2d blue Perf 11x12 SG O21c with Double Overprint One Albino, large-part o.g. Unlisted by Gibbons.
1882 Second Sidefaces with Lined Background Perf 12 2d blue horizontal pair Imperforate Between SG 168a, indistinct Barred Numeral cancellation, Cat £3000. RPSofL Certificate (2007). [Ken Scudder at page 122 states "On at least one occasion, a vertical line of perforations was omitted, as pairs imperforate between are known". Both stamps are also imperforate at the top]
1895 Â½d green Void BackgroundPerf 12½,13 with Double Impression SG 208a, light horizontal crease, large-part o.g. with a hinge remainder, Cat £2000. BPA Certificate (2009). Stated to be the only unused example recorded. [The first print was quite faint & was obviously considered unsatisfactory; the strong second print is 2mm to the right; with normal stamp for comparison. Ken Scudder at page 179 states "Clear double prints exist...probably all...from the same sheet of stamps". Unpriced by Gibbons until 2011, now listed at £2000 unused or used, but a less dramatic used example sold for SFr24,225 at a Swiss auction in 2003]
1876-1900 Broad Star1/- chocolate Perf 11½-12½ horizontal strip of 4 Imperforate Vertically (except at left) SG 130a, minor pre-printing paper fold affects the second pair, large-part o.g., Cat £900+ (for two pairs). RPSofL Certificate (1972).
OFFICIAL STAMPS: Partly sorted/annotated array of 'SA' punctures including mint 5/- x3 & £1 x2 plus a few errors and Plate Numbers, also 'OS' punctures including mint 9d x2 & 5/- x2, etc, a few problems noted but generally fine to very fine & some of the mint stamps are unmounted. A very scarce lot, with excellent research potential.

Accumulation of Pictorials mostly 1d & 2d in quantity in bundles plus much on piece, all denominations well represented including 6d x100 approx, also mint groups with ½d complete sheet of 60, 2½d x30 including a block of 6, 3d x29 including two blocks of 4 & several Thin Paper & 6d x37 including two blocks of 4, condition a bit variable but most appear to be fine to very fine & some are probably unmounted, completely unchecked by us for printings, watermarks, perfs or postmarks, significant catalogue value (1000s); also Postal History with many Pictorials frankings including 1d perf 'T' used in lieu of Postage Due, 'ONE PENNY' on 2d, and a marvellous piece with punctured 'T' 2d 3d x4 & 6d x2, a few PTPO Envelopes, a few telegrams, finally a batch of official mail including unstamped envelopes & lettersheets one with 1892 'HOLLOW TREE' cds, etc. Ex Estate of Dr Owen Ingles.
1857-67 Double-Lined Numerals 1d carmine as SG 29 but with Dramatic Double Print, margins just shaved - at upper-left - to large with fragments of the adjoining units above & at right, a trifle oxidised, unused. BPA Certificate (2007) states "...variety double print unused is genuine". [Previously listed as SG 29a & unpriced unused; acquired at auction in 2008 for $US3250]
1896-1909 Ninepenceannotated selection with shades including Ultramarine, corner block of 4 with 'SPECIMEN' Overprint, Crown/A Perf 12½ pair with Double Perfs at the Base, Irregular Compound Perfs Perf 12½x11, Perf 11x12 x2 shades, Perf 11x11x11x12, horizontal pair Perf 11x12 & Perf 11x12x12x12, horizontal pair Perf 12½x11 & Perf 12½x11x11x11 (**), etc, generally very fine. A very desirable group.
1902-05 Litho V/Crown2d purple Perf 12.4x12.2 SG 237d (Perf 12½x12), creased, large-part o.g., Cat £600. Not listed in the ACSC.
REVENUES STAMP DUTY: 1900 'REVENUE' Overprint on Platypus 2d orange-brown with 'TWO PENCE' Double marginal block of 4 from the left of the sheet with Control '8', a few split/rejoined perfs, unused, Elsmore Online Cat $640+.
