CINDERELLAS:WWII Lady Gowrie 6d (68x44mm) horizontal pair with margins at left & right, large oval '[...] BROADCASTING CORP PTY LTD/2UW/SYDNEY NSW' cachet in violet, both units with light vertical creases and minor aging marks. Not previously seen by us. [These large-format labels were intended for use on parcels, hence their extremely low survival rate]

FOOD PARCEL LABELS:c.1946 red/green complete parcel label to England with Ram 5d pair & Robes 5/- tied by indistinct '.../SOUTH AUST' cds, minor wrinkles & soiling. [The Food Parcel Scheme was a response to post-WWII food rationing in Britain. Parcels of up to 7Lb (pounds) or up to 11Lb could be sent by surface mail for concessional rates of 3/7d or 5/10d respectively. Postal Stationery labels are recorded only for Melbourne (3/7d & 5/10d), Sydney (5/10d) & Hobart (3/7d)]
FOOD PARCEL LABELS:1946 3/7d magenta for Myer Emporium ACSC #PL3A complete label affixed to slightly larger parcel piece with Melbourne parcel roller cancellation, minor wrinkles, Cat $2000. Rare.
FOOD PARCEL LABELS:1946 5/10d blue for Myer Emporium ACSC #PL4A complete label addressed but unused with full o.g.!, typewriter crease at the base, Cat $2000 unused & $800 used.
FOOD PARCEL LABELS:1946 5/10d blue for Victoria's Department of Agriculture ACSC #PL4B complete label, philatelic usage at Woomera in 1956, most unusually to the United States, Cat $1500. Superb!
FOOD PARCEL LABELS:1948 Myer Emporium label as for the embossed issues but unstamped, to Hampshire with 5/10d meter, repaired internal tear; also similar 1949 Myer label of similar format but with a more formal corporate logo & the text reset, also with 5/10d meter, somehwat soiled. [Remarkably, the sender of the second item was resident in India! Food rationing in Britain ended only in July 1954, nine years after WWII ended]

1897 Jubilee/Consumptive Homesmint 1/- x2 (one with adhesions on gum, the other toned) & 2/6d (adhesions on gum), used 1/- x4 & 2/6d x2, and 'Specimen' Overprints 1/- with large-part o.g. & duo with no gum (corner thins), Cat £1300+.
1900 Boer War Charity1d imperforate colour trials in deep blue-green, pale yellow-green, indigo & a pair in violet-blue, plus the issued stamp CTO.
2d imperforate colour trial/plate proof in violet (close to the issued shade) on ungummed unwatermarked paper, small thin at upper-rtght. Rare. [We estimate that 1d & 2d proofs exist in a ratio of approximately 100:1. Bernie Manning's example sold at the Prestige auction of 13.6.2009 for $3105] [** The thin spot was not noted in the catalogue. Estimate/reserve reduced to $1200/$900 **]
Extensive collection in three expensive Lighthouse hingeless albums, sparse in the early issues which are used & in mixed condition, handy range of pre-WWII mint with a few unmounted including 50fr Ader, 1945-89 issues apparently complete and mostly lightly mounted to 1966, then apparently unmounted, also a smattering of Back of Book issues. High thematic content.
