Travelling Post Officescollection on display pages from all Colonies/States mostly on Colonial stamps including on covers and cards plus some Commonwealth material, noted New South Wales 'ENGLISH MAIL/NSW' d/s on 1910 cover from Hungary, Queensland Great Northern 'GN RAILWAY/QUEENSLAND' on Chalon 6d and 'TPO 6 S&WR' on Papua 2d Lakatoi, South Australia early 'RAILWAY/SA', squared circles and partial 'PAY TRAIN/TRA...' (Trans-Australian Railway), Tasmania 'TPO' and 'TML' types on Pictorials on picture postcards, Victoria 'DOWN TRAIN/GM4' error (RRR) on 1880 postal card, Western Australia 'TPO EGF/WA' (Eastern Goldfields) on Swan 1d blue postal card, etc, condition variable but many fine.

Copper watermark bitson small pieces of dandy roll comprising Victorian V/Crown, Queensland Crown/Q, NSW Small Crown/A, Australian Crown/A Second Wmk & Third Wmk, and GB Crown/GvR, all recessed in a single cardboard mount (254x128mm) with 'EDWIN AMIES & SON/MAIDSTONE' h/s in rosine on the reverse, the mount a bit soiled. [Edwin Amies & Son is still in business in Maidstone (Kent). They are manufacturers, especially of paper-making machinery]
Covers & Postal Stationerygroup noted NSW 1852 with 2d Laureate tied numeral '56' of Singleton and 1854 with 1d Laureate pair and 'ALBURY' crowned oval arrival, Queensland 1912 registered with early 'R/STANTHORPE' red & black label, a few PPCs, advertising covers, TPO cancels and other postmark interest, plenty of unused postal stationery, some Tatts mail, condition variable.

Collection on Scott pages with a few attractive Sydney Views, Laureates 1d SG 46 & 6d SG 78 both with Sismondo Certificates plus 8d & 3d with Wmk '2' Error (3½ margins & small scissor cut but an attractive example of this rare stamp), some full-margin Diadems including 8d golden yellow SG 97, 'REGISTERED' Imperf x2, QV 'POSTAGE' in Blue 10/- SG 241 mint (BPA Certificate as then SG 247a), Governors 20/- SG 262 & 350 both mint, 1897 Charity duo used, 'OS' Overprints including 5/- Map mint, Postage Dues 20/- CTO, condition variable but generally fine.
Rambling collection with lots of problems & misidentifications but nevertheless many fine to very fine and/or attractive stamps including Laureates 2d apparently unused (three margins) & 6d, QV 10/- mint, 20/- Governors mint, 'NINEPENCE' on 10d Double Overprint mint, 1897 Charity duo, 1905-10 mint to 2/6d, mostly mint 'OS' group including 'OS' in Red on 3d SG O4 used, etc. Inspection highly recommended.
1850-51 Sydney Viewsrange on Hagners identified as One Penny Plate I (No Clouds) x2 & a forgery, Plate II (Clouds) x22 including four pairs & Laid Paper x4; Two Pence Plate I x7, Plate II x12, Plate III x5, Plate IV x16 and Plate V x5 including a Laid Paper; and Three Pence x12 including a myrtle-green (no margins) & Laid Paper x3; condition rather mixed but many have full margins and some are fine to very fine, Cat £23,000+. An opportunity to fill a lot of bothersome gaps for a modest outlay. [See full scans on our website]
