Mostly used collectionfrom Kangaroos with 10/- Third Wmk 'OS' puncture CTO, £1 brown & blue telegraph puncture, CofA Wmk £1 & £2 (creased), KGV Heads simplified plus 'OS' overprints, Kookaburra 6d Engraved and 3d M/S (stains), then apparently complete simplified to 1965 including 5/- Bridge (telegraph cds), Navigators set of 6 & 'OS' overprints, also BCOF set * and a few Postage Dues, plus small range of Colonies & States with some Revenues, condition mixed but many fine.
Inverted WatermarksKGV Single Wmk 2d orange punctured 'OS', Vic cds; LMult Wmk 1½d black-brown vertical strip of 3, SA cds; and Postage Dues Filled Tablets 5/- mint; Cat $725.

ofPUNCTURED 'OS': £2 purple-black & rose, very well centred, CTO with large-part o.g. ACSC #56wa, Cat $4500. Chris Ceremuga Certificate (2012) states "superb example".
C of A KGV - King George V Issues
1914-35 One Penny dated cancelsextensive collection mounted on pages by Wmk & Perf starting with Reds Single Line Perf (earliest date 20.7.1914), 1d red Comb Perf including block of 4 with clear '-7AU14' (ERD), then Smooth & Rough Papers showing shade progressions plus Die III x58, LMultiple Wmk with one Cooke printing '14FE18' and a quantity of Harrison printings (earliest date 22.12.1919), also Violets (earliest date 16.2.1922), Greens with Single Wmk '-1MY24' and LMultiple Wmk '20MY24' (both First Day of Issue) etc, includes many scarce Sunday cancels, also noted official punctures & overprints, commercial perfins, a few NWPI overprints, variety & postmark interest, overall fine condition; also substantial duplicates in three stockbooks. Offered intact, this presents an excellent study opportunity as well as a fascinating challenge to take the collection further towards completion. [See also Lot 59]

1931 Kingsford Smith3d blue overprinted 'OS' Plate Number '1' corner block of 4, lightly mounted in the margins only otherwise unmounted, Cat $6000+ (mounted). Rare. Chris Ceremuga Certificate (2012).

Rambling collection with lots of problems & misidentifications but nevertheless many fine to very fine and/or attractive stamps including Laureates 2d apparently unused (three margins) & 6d, QV 10/- mint, 20/- Governors mint, 'NINEPENCE' on 10d Double Overprint mint, 1897 Charity duo, 1905-10 mint to 2/6d, mostly mint 'OS' group including 'OS' in Red on 3d SG O4 used, etc. Inspection highly recommended.
1888-89 Centennial of New South Walesincluding imperf colour trials 1d x2, 6d x3, 8d & 20/- x2, then 2d pair with 'INSPECTOR GENERAL' h/s, 5/- 'SPECIMEN' Overprint, 20/- x3 plus 'Specimen' & 'SPECIMEN' Overprints; 'OS' Overprints 1d pane of 60, 5/- (creased) & 20/- CTO, and a few others; generally fine to very fine.

'OS' OVERPRINTS:Fine collection on Hagners including 1d SG O2 mint, 3d with Red 'OS' SG O4 used (trimmed perfs at right), 6d SG O8 mint, 8d with Red 'OS' SG O9 used, Coin 5/- SG O14 unused (Broken 'S') & used x4 and Perf 11 used x2, 1880 10d SG O18a mint & used, 1882-85 2d 'G Pr O/NSW' Monogram block of 12 (**), 5d SG O29 mint marginal pair Imperf at Base, 8d mint block of 4 & 1/- SG O33b mint strip of 3, Centennial 1d & 2d Triple Monogram blocks of 12, 4d & 6d unmounted blocks of 4, 1890-91 5/- Map Perf 10 used x2 (one with Broken 'O') & Perf 12 mint (Deformed 'S'; Friedl/Bloch Certificate), and 20/- with 'SPECIMEN' Overprint, 2½d Triple Monogram block of 12, Surcharges set mint blocks of 4 & used set, etc, condition variable but generally fine to very fine, Cat £6000+. An excellent basis for serious expansion.

'OS' OVERPRINTS:1888-90 1d mauve Perf 11x12 SG O39b complete sheet of 120 (12x10) with 'CP' 'G Pr O/NSW' & '1888' Monograms each twice in the lower margin & four complete imprints in the other margins, a few very minor perf separations, large-part o.g. with most units unmounted, Cat £420++.
'OS' OVERPRINTS:1890 Wmk '5/-' 5/- deep purple Map overprinted 'O S' in Red SG O47, well centred, indistinct numeral cancellation, Cat £800. Rare. Ex John Bell (NSW): acquired at the Prestige auction of 8.5.2013 for $920. BPA Certificate (1986).
'OS' OVERPRINTS:1890 Wmk '5/-' 5/- deep purple Map overprinted 'O S' in Red SG O47, Sydney cds, Cat £800. Rare. Chris Ceremuga Certificate (2016) states "superb example" and "only 100 printed".
'OS' OVERPRINTS:1890 Wmk '5/-' 5/- deep purple Map overprinted 'O S' in Red SG O47, Sydney cancel, Cat £800. Rare. Ex Keith Harrison: acquired at the Prestige auction of 2.8.2013 for $2875. RPSofL Certificate (1980). [In our opinion this is the finest and most atractive of the three examples]
'OS' OVERPRINTS:1890 Wmk '5/-' 5/- purple overprinted 'OS' in Red as SG O47 but in the distinctive shade of the official reprints & Perf 12, CTO with 'NSW' or 'GPO' cancels, full unmounted o.g. Very scarce. (2)

'OS' OVERPRINTS:1890 Wmk '5/ '-in-Diamond 5/- mauve Perf 10 SG O49a with Deformed 'S', large-part o.g., Cat £400+.
'OS' OVERPRINTS:1890 Wmk '5/ '-in-Diamond 5/- mauve Perf 10 SG O49a overprinted 'SPECIMEN' vertical pair, full unmounted o.g., Cat £800. A very scarce & superb multiple. [Acquired at the Prestige auction of 24.4.2009 for $483]
'OS' OVERPRINTS:1890 Wmk '5/ '-in-Diamond 5/- dull lilac Perf 12 SG O49b, large-part o.g., Cat £800.
'OS' OVERPRINTS:1891 ½d on 1d grey with Double 'OS' Overprint SG O55a, large-part o.g., Cat £1500. A rare & dramatic error. BPA Certificate (1965).
PUNCTURED 'OS': 1905-12 Crown/A Perf 11 20/- BW #N77b, very lightly mounted, grossly undercatalogued at $400. Rare: absent from the Colonel Evans, Jim Johnstone and Carrington (Mark Dankin) collections.
REPRINTS:Seriffed 'OS' 5/- 10/- & £1 all CTO with concentric-ovals, and 10/- with 'Specimen' Overprint, the £1 with large-part o.g.
