PROOF OVERPRINTS - THIN TYPE:Large piece (128x167mm) with 24 impressions (4x6) from the lower-right of the right-hand pane [Rows 5/10 Pos 5 to 8] in red including Stop after 'JAPAN.' [Row 5 Pos 5], 'B' in Wrong Font (Smaller 'B') [Row 7 Pos 6] & the unlisted Broken 'C' [Row 10 Pos 8], small paper inclusions, Cat $2600+. Ex Sybrand Bakker. [NB: Row 9 Pos 7 shows the '6' intact, which means that the unlisted Broken '6' variety occurred later due to wear]
PROOF OVERPRINTS - THIN TYPE:Inter-panneau piece (101x76mm) from the top of the sheet with 8 impressions - 4+4 - comprising left-hand pane [Rows 1/2 Pos 7 & 8] including '4' in '1946' in the Wrong Font (Long Serif at Base) [Row 2 Pos 7] & right-hand pane [Rows 1/2 Pos 1 & 2] in red, faint bend, Cat $900+. PROOF OVERPRINTS - THIN TYPE:Inter-panneau piece (101x120mm) from the base of the sheet with 16 impressions - 8+8 - comprising left-hand pane [Rows 7 to 10 Pos 7 & 8] in gold including 'B.C,O.F.' 1850-51 Sydney ViewsONE PENNY: Robert Clayton's second lithographed essay in dull scarlet-vermilion on ungummed unwatermarked pelure paper, horizontal pair [11-12], full margins, a couple of faults. [Ric Slade-Slade's strip of 3 sold at the Prestige auction of 4.3.2006 for $3910]
1854-60 Imperf Large Diademsselection of contemporary plate proofs comprising Large Design 5d in deep dull green (marginal) & deep bright green, 6d in black & 8d in blue, Small Design with blank tablets in black (thinned), 1d in black & in brown and 2d in black marginal block of 4, also with blank tablets & void corner at lower-left in dull red & with the lower tablet trimmed-off in slate-blue, dull blue & deep yellow-ochre; then reprinted proofs on thin unwatermarked paper of 6d in grey & in pale dull brown x2 (one a corner example), and a colourful group of reprinted undenominated die proofs of the Large Design x3 plus of the Head only x3, and of the Small Design x8, mostly fine to very fine.

1888-89 Centennial of New South Walesall-different imperforate colour trials on ungummed unwatermarked paper comprising 1d x4, 2d x6, 4d x6, 6d x10, 8d x8, 1/- x6, 5/- & 20/- x10, all but one 2d with full margins, a couple of minor blemishes. Largely complete & colourful array. Most of these are Ex John Bell (NSW). [65 different proofs have been recorded, with between 6 and 12 of each, some of which remain in blocks of 4]

1860 Small Star Watermarkcomplete sheet of 240 impressions (12x20) with 'POSTAGE' six times in the margins, central horizontal fold, aging/damp-spotting on the reverse only.
