Accumulation in stockbook from Chalons with a few imperfs then range of perforated including Small Star 1d *, Q/Crown 6d *, Large Chalon 10/- * and £1 *, also 'SPECIMEN' overprints on 4d, 6d, 5/- pink and Large Chalon 2/6d & 5/- plus used to 2/-, quantity of Sidefaces with many numeral cancels, datestamps including TPOs and other postmark interest noted 'OFFICIALLY R[EGISTERED]/SYDNEY/4d MORE T[O PAY]' on 2d, a few multiples and also some mint, Revenues with Stamp Duty to £1 and Impressed Duty to £6 including some KEVII issues, apparently unchecked for perf & wmk varieties, condition mixed but many fine.

1861 entire to Sydney (b/s) with rare franking of Small Star Clean-Cut Perf 14-16 6d green SG 9 just tied by fine Rays '87' of 'IPSWICH' (very fine b/s), horizontal filing fold & internal repairs with archival tape.

VICTORIA - Postal History
1888-89 mail from Great Britain comprising 1d Postal Cards x2 (one correctly uprated with 1d lilac), cover paid 2½d but taxed 1½d + 4d fine (opening faults), overweight cover from Ireland with 6d Jubilee & '1s/MORE TO PAY'-in-oval h/s of Melbourne, and 5d rate cover to 'HONG-KONG' (b/s) forwarded to Sydney then to Melbourne with '(2d")/MORE TO PAY'-in-oval h/s, two items with remnants of NSW black/yellow 'MORE TO PAY' dockets on the reverse.
AUSTRALIA: 1932 commercial cover to Denmark with KGV 2d tied by 'BILLINUDGEL/NSW' cds, rubber 'MORE TO PAY' h/s in violet & 'NSW/T/16 2/3' h/s in red, on arrival endorsed "17" and Postage Due 1o pair 5 o & 10o tied by 'SILKEBORG' cds, minor blemishes & small opening tear clear of the stamps. ["Billinudgel" = place where parrots are plentiful]
AUSTRALIA: NEW SOUTH WALES: 1875 cover to GB "Via Galle & Brindisi" with scarce franking of De La Rue 1d & 2d block of 4 tied by Rays '278' - rated RRR - of 'NOWRA' (b/s), minor blemishes & ironed-out vertical crease at left. "Nowra" = black cockatoo. [Renamed from Green Hills 1.1.1861]
MEXICO: 1857 entires with 'VERA CRUZ' Reading Downwards 2r tied by octagonal 'Sn AN Ds TUXTLA' h/s in blue or Reading Upwards 1r x2 with 'SANTIAGO/TUX-TLA' h/s, minor blemishes. ["Tuxtla" is a corruption of "Toztlau" = place of the macaws]
Accumulation of Australia & World including NSW Wedderburn Weir & 'Umberumberka Weir, Broken Hill' real photos, 'Numurkah Weir' (Victoria), Tweed Heads/Coolangatta x6 attractively framed, Military with Punch Cartoon's "New Rake's Progress" fine set of 12 in battered envelope plus four more nicely framed, smutty Humour, a few Nudes, Greetings, also Advertising with ephemera including ship & travel brochures, Daily Graphics "Special War Cartoons" booklets #2 3 4 & 5, 1964 Newsweek magazine featuring Warren Commission report on the JFK Assasination,etc, condition mostly fine. Weighs 10kg.
1942 airmail to Australia with KGVI ½d and Pictorials 2d 2½d 3d 4d 1/- & 2/6d, gorgeous Coruba Jamaica Rum advertising label on face, scarce 'CPS/16AP42/SYDNEY' cds in red overstruck with 'UNCLAIMED/SYDNEY' cds and returned, couple of minor edge faults.

1934 (Apr 5) cover from NSW to "Wau/New Guinea" with KGV 2d pair tied by 'AIR MAIL/1 1/SYDNEY NSW' cds, endorsed "Left Territory" in red & with good strike of the rare boxed 'UNCLAIMED/AT RABAUL' h/s, Sydney DLO re-sealing label on the flap & h/s in magenta on the face.
1908 real photo of a white baby, to New York with New South Wales ½d & 1d tied by 'NEW HEBRIDES/ DE12/1908/ VILA' cds.
AMERICAN SAMOA: 1933-36 three covers to NSW all with very fine strikes of the 'LEONE, TUTUILA, SAMOA' datestamp, the last with 'APIA' transit on the face, a few blemishes. PO 17/6/1931; closed 7/4/1948.
