1946-48 Overprints ½d (block of 6 only) to 5/- Thick Paper SG J1-7 blocks of 8 (4x2) all but the 2/- with imprint, the central horizontal perfs on the 5/- block are a bit weak & reinforced in the margin, unmounted, Cat £1500+ for unmounted singles ($4000++ for imprint blocks of 4 plus four sets).

1946-48 Overprints ½d to 5/- Thick Paper (unusually well centred) on plain envelope with embossed 'COMMANDER IN CHIEF/[crown]/ BRITISH COMMONWEALTH FORCES' on the flap, unusually to Hong Kong with 'AUST ARMY PO/214' cds, light overall soiling.
C of A - Decimal Issues
1966-2013 huge collection in four cartons apparently complete mint to 2013 with many blocks of 4, plus used/CTO from mid-1970s onwards, includes se-tenant pairs & strips, M/Ss, sheetlets, booklets (some 'prestige' types), Frama button sets, Peel & Stick, International Post, etc, also album of AAT, unmounted, enormous face value.

Useful mostly unused oddments with Postal Cards including Fullface 1d ACSC #P1 & Coronation 1d, Envelopes QEII 4d maroon & 5d light blue both with 'SPECIMEN' Overprint, Registration Envelopes 5d on 4½d 18mm Spacing etc, used including Postal Cards Kangaroo 1d for SA Railways with 'OHMS' above Heading, and 1938-39 group to a Melbourne architect with brief messages re required maintenance, condition variable.

Unused selection with Kangaroo 1d Original Die, Star 1d, 1d+½d, 1½d black-brown Die 2 & 2d orange (light central fold), Star with 'POSTAGE' 2d scarlet, 'THREE/HALFPENCE' on 2d orange (stained) & 'POSTAGE' 2d scarlet, KGV Oval with Blue Inside & 1962 Royal Agricultural Show 5d, a few with the flaps stuck, Cat $2000+.
Used selection including Star 1d red with Left Point Broken (uncancelled), 1d+½d x2, 1½d black-brown Die 2, 1½d brown to the Bahamas (b/s) & to USA uprated with 1½d cutout, & 2d orange, Star with 'POSTAGE' 2d scarlet, 'THREE/HALFPENCE' on 2d orange (stained) & 'POSTAGE' 2d scarlet, KGVI 3½d registered to Spain, 5d light blue uprated with 4c Coil for internal airmail, etc, fine to very fine.
1951-57 KGVI 3½d, QEII Large Dies 3d green (unissued), 3½d red & 3½d orange, Small Dies 3½d orange & 4d all with 'SPECIMEN' Overprint in Red (79x12mm), Cat $900.
1960 QEII 5d light blue Long Envelope with 'SPECIMEN' Overprint in Red as ACSC #EP59w but with larger overprint 105x16mm. [The ACSC records only the standard size 79x12mm overprint]

1919 1d red Die I ('OS'-of-dots) + ½d green (solid 'OS') ACSC #EO5 on grey stock for Deputy Commissioner of Maternity Allowances, Melbourne War Savings Certificates slogan cancel of 9DE/1919. Superb! [John Sinfield's equally fine example sold at the Prestige auction of 20.11.2004 for $1380]

Useful group with Kangaroo 1d for H Mathews & Co uprated to Germany, 1d red Die 2 for S Cooke (no flap), Star ½d, ½d+1d, 1d+½d long OHMS window envelope (faults), 1d violet for Harry Shelley (Sydney; unrecorded user), 1d green with all-over advert on reverse for AW Sandford & Co (Adelaide), 1½d brown OHMS for Sydney Sewerage Board, 1½d red-brown for Velvet Soap (ERU 7JA/1922), 2d violet for John Paton (long envelope, folds), 2d orange for Brooks Robinson (ERU 27OC20) and for Government Chalet Mount Buffalo with 'MT BUFFALO' cds (superb!), Star with 'POSTAGE' 2d orange x2, 'TWO/PENCE' on KGV Oval 1½d for Dennys Lascelles Ltd, KGVI Oval 1d brown for Defence Canteens x4, 2d deep mauve (uprated for airmail to WA) & 3d (very scarce non-uprated usage), QEII 5d indigo with Strong Offset on Reverse & 5d light blue with Postage Due 3d block of 4, a few Decimal issues, etc, a few nice usages, condition variable but most are fine to very fine.
1916-22 Star without 'POSTAGE' 1d red Die I + Sideface ½d green ACSC #ES36 uprated with ½d green & 2d orange tied by 'ARARAT/2FE22/VIC' to Adelaide, small stain between the two impressions, Cat $3000. Rare. [The ACSC states that one unused and four used examples are recorded & that the total printing of ES16 & 36 combined was a mere 150 envelopes]
1916-22 Star without 'POSTAGE' 1½d black-brown Die 3 + Sideface ½d green ACSC #ES53 for Vacuum Oil Co, discolouration on reverse, Cat $750.
1921-28 Star with 'POSTAGE' 1d green+½d orange with No 'POSTAGE' ACSC #ES44 for Berlei Ltd with printed slogan 'BE AUSTRALIAN! BUY AUSTRALIAN GOODS' at base and Sydney Krag machine cancel with 'ALWAYS ASK FOR/AUSTRALIAN PRODUCTS' slogan, small faults at left & a bit aged, Cat $3000. [The ACSC states "at least six envelopes are recorded"]
1928-37 KGV Oval 1d+1d ACSC #ES66 for Edward Dyason & Co, used at Melbourne in 1936, irregular opening & flap removed at left, Cat $1000. Unrecorded user.
1928-37 KGV Oval 'TWO/PENCE' on 1d green ACSC #ES67 with printed address of Shell (Sydney) front only with opening fault at lower-right, Cat $1500. [The ACSC states that only one unused & three used examples are recorded]

Box with a mostly unused array, about half are QEII issues but the earlier items include Fullface 1d x4 (three used), Kangaroo 1d x12 (mostly used), Sideface 1d x7 (six used), 1917 'REPLY' Barred-Out x2 (both used), 2d scarlet (used), then 1925 Rounded Perfs 1½d x2 (one CTO) & Straight-Line Perfs, KGVI 2d on Cream x7 (four used) & on Grey x5, 3½d with 'SPECIMEN' Overprint, 5d 'AUTOMATIC POST OFFICE' x2 (one CTO & addressed), etc, condition of the earlier material is variable but most are fine to very fine.
