1935 (Nov 18) gold bullion parcel tag with rare and remarkable franking of Silver Jubilee 1d, Undated Airs 5/- & Bulolo 5 emerald tied by 'WAU' cds, registration cachet on the reverse, remarkably fine for such an item. Ex Tom Frommer: acquired at Mossgreen on 4.4.2017 for $3840. [The rate was 2d per 1oz letter rate x157 + 3d per oz airmail surcharge x314 + 3d registration + 2d late fee for registered articles = 5/5/1d. The only other 5 franking known to us is a similar large-part tag franked 5/4/3d Ex Ken Kutz, the current whereabouts of which is unknown]

Extremely desirable & rare: the only commercial article franked with the 1 known to us. Ex Tom Frommer: sold at Mossgreen on 4.4.2017 for $2280.
