Predominantly used array on Seven Seas pages plus 64-page stockbook with Kangaroos to 10/-, KGV Heads, lots of Pre-Decimal Commemoratives noted 9d Macarthur, 1/- ANZAC & £1 Navigator blocks of 4 commercially used, some Postage Dues, 'OS' overprints, BCOF including 1/- Lyrebird blocks of 8 & 10 with 'ARMY PO' cancels, also Decimals to 1980s, plus some Colonies noted South Australia with range of 'OS' overprints, etc, potential postmark interest, condition variable but many fine. Weighs 18kg.
Used accumulation from Colonies/States noted NSW Consumptive Homes pair * (toned), Kangaroos & KGV Heads including a few *, Pre-Decimals with some imprint blocks, part-sheets, etc, noted Airmail 3d punctured 'OS' plate '4' pair ** (light gum bends), plus quantity loose in envelopes including a few Revenues, postmark interest, condition variable. Weighs 6kgs.

STAMPED TO ORDER: KGVI 5½d ACSC #RES2 cutout on thin white paper, 'REGISTERED HOBART/28JY48/ TAS-AUST' cds. Rare. [The ACSC records one complete envelope & states "No cut-outs have been reported." A single cutout of the similar 5d envelope #RES1 is catalogued at $500]

Interesting array with a batch of airmail covers including commercial items three with KGV 1/4d & to Singapore with Large Kooka 6d & 3d White Wattles, 1908 Northern Tasmanian Tourists Association view-wallet, 1916 to USA with KGV ½d & 1d pair with 'AWS' perfins, 1919 registered with KGV ½d green & 4d orange, 1926 with boxed 'CLOSED/AGAINST/INSPECTION' h/s taxed with Postage Due 2d & 3d x5, 1932 with KGV 2d 'OS' Overprint, 1932 Letter Card with 'GOVERNMENT HOUSE GARDEN FETE/SYDNEY' cds (used one day only), 1934 paquebot with Macarthur set cancelled at Naples Italy, 1944 YMCA foldout Christmas card, two items damaged in transit with Post Office advice letters, etc, also NSW 1853 outer with Sydney Views 3d to London "per Harbinger" & a modest group of Tasmanian Postal Cards including a few with added Embossings, condition rather mixed.

1913 usage of 'TASMANIA/INTERSTATE/PARCEL POST' black/pink label with rare combination franking of First Wmk 1/- (Cat $1250 on cover) & Tasmanian 2d tied by a largely complete strike of the enormous 'CHIEF PARCELS OFFICE/JUL 7 1913/HOBART' datestamp (rated RR) in violet, minor blemishes.
1915 usage of Sideface 1d Letter Card ('RIVER DERWENT') in brown with rare franking of First Wmk 3d Die II (Cat $1250 on cover) tied by 'REGISTERED/24FE15/SYDNEY NSW' cds, red & black registration label, 'MOSS VALE' arrival b/s, adhesion on the viewside. [The letter states "Enclosed please find Money Order £3-7-0..." NB: the Third Wmk 3d was not issued until about October 1915]
1924 usage of 'THREE/HALFPENCE' on 2d red Letter Card ('MOSMAN'S BAY') to Sussex with Hobart Krag machine cancel with British Empire Exhibition slogan (very scarce from Hobart).
1929 (Aug 12) catalogue envelope (247x177mm) for Joseph Charles by air to Tasmania with scarce franking of Small Multiple Wmk 1/- Roo & KGV 1/4d pair plus 3d Airmail (fault) tied by Perth Krag machine cancel, 'ST HELENS/19AU29/TASMANIA' arrival b/s, folds clear of the stamps. The 1/4d is rare on domestic mail. [Sent as Printed Matter, the rate was 1d per 4oz x2 + airmail supplement of 3d per ½oz x15 = 47d for an article weighing between 7½ & 8oz. At the time, the final leg Melbourne-Launceston was by sea]

POW mail from Australia comprising 1) 1/- notelope with rare 'Gefanderer-' for 'Gefangenen-' Error; 2) stampless POW Postal Card to Italy with rare 'SERVICE/PRISONER OF WAR/(CS THANE) Lt Col/Comot HAY' & most unusual 'No 7 Prisoners of War Camp/NSW Australia' cachet; 3) printed notelope endorsed "18 WCCT2 Brighton" (Tas) on the reverse, to Italy with scarce 6/1 censor label of Launceston; 4) 1946 uncensored printed notelope Brighton (Tas) to Italy with superb strike of the rare 'Approved for Transmission by/Camp Commandant' h/s; 5) 1943 PPC to Queensland with 1d only from "TH Halassi/N452195/3 AEC/Mascot", apparently a paroled internee working at Number 3 Army Embarkation Centre; and two others.
TASMANIA: Mail to militiamen at Ulverstone (1905), Forth (1910 - with '1st Battalion Tasmanian Rangers' imprint - & undated) or Ross Camp (1911 and 1913), also 1916 with 'TASMANIAN RANGERS' crest on flap and 'MILITARY CAMP 1/TASMANIA' cds to Egypt, condition variable.
TASMANIA: c.1911 usage of Fullface 1d Letter Card ('NATIONAL PARK/NS WALES'; vertical scene) endorsed "Ross Camp Ross" at left & with faint strike of the rubber 'MILITARY CAMP' cds in blue, somewhat aged. Rare.
TASMANIA: 1914 Propsting real photo PPC 'Light Horse at Mona Vale 1914', minor blemishes, unused.
TASMANIA: 1914 Spurling real photo PPC of bugler & catering corps, Pictorial 1d with 'ROSS/AP15/14/TASMANIA' cds, minor blemishes.
