C of A - Booklets
1909 One Pound (1d x240) Blue on Pink cover with 'GENERAL POST OFFICE, SYDNEY' on the reverse ACSC #B4(V)D (based on the Sydney photograph being recorded for the Victorian issue only), the stamps neatly removed, Cat $25,000. Immaculate! [NB: the ACSC states at page 11/8: "Prices for pre-1928 booklets are for booklet covers in good condition, containing any quantity of the relevant stamps". While no stamps are present here, the quality of this item is far superior to 'good'. In fact, it is the finest of the early booklets we have ever seen!]
