1936 Cable 2d and 3d tied 'REGISTERED/1-AP36/SYDNEY NSW' cds on PMG's Dept OHMS cover to USA with KGV 1d green added for foreign letter rate and blue R label alongside, unusual oval 'RECORDS/1-APR.1936/NSW' d/s in violet at L/L, Californian arrival b/s, minor discolouration at base of cover. [Enclosed PMG's Dept letter]

1914-19 Pioneer Postcards group comprising 1914 Wizard Stone correctly rated with 1d Roo cancelled at Sydney or 1d Engraved uncancelled, Maurice Guillaux x2 (one with Engraved 1d plus GB KGV 1d both tied by 'AERIAL MAIL' cancels), Basil Watson carried & unused and Harry Butler x4 cancelled at Minlaton x2 (one with Butler's facsimile signature), Yorketown (creased hut with HV McKay message) & Adelaide, mostly fine to very fine. An excellent group of these scarce early flight souvenirs.

1914 NSW Arms 1d red envelope sent to Austria with added combination franking Kangaroos ½d green & 1d red tied Sydney roller cancel paying 2½d foreign rate, couple of small closed tears & faults on top edge.
1916 unfranked cover from Hungary to internee "Max Fenyo" at Liverpool Camp, NSW endorsed "Prisoner of War" with 'BUDAPEST/916APR29' cds and 'FELULVIZSGALVA/UBERPRUFT/BUDAPEST' censor cachet, British 'OPENED BY/CENSOR/1167' label on back, taxed in USA but 'T' cachet obliterated with 'No charge for postage Prisoner/of War Mail New York, NY' cachet, Sydney 'PASSED BY/CENSOR SD' civilian censor in pink & 'R.S. Sands LIEUT COL/GERMAN CONCENTRATION CAMPS/LIVERPOOL NSW' cachet, a few blemishes.
1918 KGV 1d red 'Star' Envelope to internee "W. M. Jasper, GCC 32 / 6, Holdsworthy" with Adelaide '19MAR18' roller cancel, opened by censor & resealed with small pink label and 'CENSORED/GERMAN CONCENTRATION CAMP/LIVERPOOL' cachet on back, endorsed "Postal Note 5/-" in pencil presumably by censor.
1940 to Sydney from Papua with Air Mail 5d tied 'SAMARAI ED/20DE40/PAPUA' d/s, sighted by Cairns Qld censor where '1/3/NOT/OPENED BY/CENSOR/2' diamond cachet applied on face, censored again with Sydney label & cachet alongside, a few blemishes. John Little records only two examples of the Cairns '...NOT/OPENED...' cachet.
1940-44 Newcastle Civil Censorship group including scarce '2/1 /RETURN/TO/SENDER' diamond cachet in violet on '9-dot' label also tying Lady Gowrie label on face of cover to USA with KGVI 3d brown tied Newcastle, NSW '23MCH/1942' trip cancel and another strike of the diamond cachet on back (the only two examples recorded by Little), 1940 airmail to New Guinea with 5d Ram and altered Sydney 'PASSED BY CENSOR/[ ]7' cachet ("S" excised), 1941 from Mayfield to USA with '2/1' label and 'SAVE COAL' seal on back, variety of other labels & cachets plus 1940 cover with '9-dot' label used at Sydney, condition mixed but mostly fine.
1944-45 Air Letter Censorship: District 2 (NSW) comprising KGVI 7d Air Letters to England with Sydney provisional red/white 'half-labels' x2 cancelled '3OCT/1944' & '8OCT1944' respectively and with specially-produced '2 Opened by Censor' red/yellow labels x3 (one early use '19OCT/1944' on Air Letter with admonition), also '10MAY/1945' cover to UK with red/yellow label unusually used to seal back flap of envelope, plus Great Britain KGVI 6d 'AIR LETTER' of '5FE/45' from RAAF serrviceman to Guyra, NSW re-sealed with full-size regular white '2/OPENED BY CENSOR' label. [John Little records only two usages of Sydney red/white 'half-labels' on Air Letters as 'fore-runners' to the later red/yellow labels].
