1902-10 V/Crown the unique complete set of die proofs in issued colours on ungummed unwatermarked paper & Line Perf 12, comprising 8d (tiny thin spot), 9d, 10d (perfs trimmed at left), 2/- (a couple of trimmed perfs at the base), 2/6d (a couple of trimmed perfs at the top), 5/- & 10/- (tiny thin spots), the 9d 2/- & 2/6d with part-Papermaker's Watermark, each with manuscript "X" cancel, Cat $37,500. Each stated by the ACSC to be unique! Individual Chris Ceremuga Certificates (2016) each state "...the only such example recorded".

The ACSC states "...possibly pulls from the zinc dies". In our opinion, there is no doubt about these items being die proofs. They were produced in Melbourne, where the same technique of perforating die proofs was employed for the KEVII 1 & 2.
