1d red Die II with Thick Band of Colour to N & S of Western Australia on 1d Letter Card 'CENTRAL RLY STN/ BRISBANE' plus ½d tied by 'QUEENSCLIFF' (Vic) cds clear of the variety. [This is similar to but not the same as the variety ACSC #3(F)j which is more diagonal & from L to R.]

Carton with duplicate or unopened packets of 1990s Aerogrammes and PSEs, some 'Postage Paid' International Post envelopes, album containing Australian Territories mint and used plus some stamp packs and FDCs.

Mostly pre-decimal selection of Postal Cards x14 including Coronation x2, modern scenic types commercially used x3, STO 3d for Wallace McGee (Dubbo) & 'OS' 1d green x3; Letter Cards 1925 1½d with Standard Perfs CTO & WWI Gratuitous Distribution with Poem on Reverse unused (a little stained mostly on the back); STO Envelope Star 1d green for Shire of Orbost, KGV Oval 2d on 1½d for Shire of Heidelberg (unused), KGV 1d green for Shire of Colac (unused), QEII 5d pale blue unusual size for LASB registered & 5c long envelope for DA Constructions (Geelong) and 'OS' Victoria 1d uprated with KGV ½d adhesive (unused) & KGV Star 1½d red for Sub-Treasury (Sydney); Registration Envelopes 4d Roo with boxed 'REGISTERED' & KGV 5d with Red Star both CTO; etc, those mentioned are fine to very fine.
POSTAL CARDS: 1923-24 KGV Sideface 1d violet ACSC #P56(1) on buff stock with additional printed advertising for Norris & Skelley Electrical Engineers including illustration of electric motor on face and enquiry form on back, couple of very minor blemishes on back only, unused.
POSTAL CARDS: 1976 Scenic Issue 18c 'Parliament House...' additionally with three inverted impressions of 'Surfers Paradise...', unused. The only example we have seen of this striking error.
POSTAL CARDS - OFFICIAL: 1919 Solid 'OS' 1½d red-brown ACSC #PO3 for Victorian School Committees, used in 1924 with Melbourne British Empire Exhibition slogan, Cat $800.

POSTAL CARDS - STAMPED TO ORDER: 1928-37 KGV Oval 1d green ACSC #PS23 for Carlton & United Breweries with striking image of 'Victoria Bitter VB Bitter Ale' beer bottle on gold background covering the entire reverse, sent to Berriwillock with Melbourne '3JUN/1930' cancel, small adhesion fault at top. User not listed by ACSC.
POSTAL CARDS - STAMPED TO ORDER: 1928-37 KGV Oval 1½d brown ACSC #PS24 for the NSW Registrar-General with 'OHMS' heading, to Corowa with Sydney machine cancel of 21SEP/1931, heavy fold at left, Cat $1500.
LETTER CARDS: 1966-80 QEII Issues '20c' on 18c Imperforate ACSC #LC97b, unused, Cat $500. [20 examples were purchased at Malvern (Vic) PO in -.2.1980. All had "blind perforations" that do not penetrate the thin card]
LETTER CARDS: 1966-80 QEII Issues '20c' on 18c with Red Printing (the stamp) Completely Omitted ACSC #97c, unused, Cat $600. [At least two examples of this ultimate Missing Colour are recorded: that in our sale of 24.11.2018 sold for $855]
LETTER CARDS - MILITARY ISSUES: WWI stampless Gratuitous Distribution Letter Card with poem on the reverse, a couple of insignificant blemishes & unusually fine for this issue, unused & very scarce thus.
ENVELOPES - OFFICIAL: 1918 KGV Sideface 1d carmine with 'OS'-of-Dots + ½d green with Solid 'OS' ACSC #EO5 for Deputy Commissioner of Maternity Allowances (Melbourne) to Malvern with Krag machine cancel of 17MR/1920 & Malvern arrival b/s of 18MR20, heavy vertical crease & associated minor tear at the top, Cat $2000. [The ACSC states "Approximately six used envelopes are recorded...between Dec 1918 & Oct 1919". This is therefore the LRD by some five months]
ENVELOPES - STAMPED TO ORDER: 1921-28 Star with 'POSTAGE' KGV 1d violet ACSC #ES41 with printed address of the British Australian Wool Realisation Association, unused, very fine without any folds, gummed flap not stuck down, Cat $400. [Most examples have significant folds/creases]

ENVELOPES - STAMPED TO ORDER: 1953-65 QEII Issues extensive used group for wide variety of users with little if any duplication, including Large Die 3d for Persil (red logo), Small Die 3½d for Turner Manufacturing (Tools), 5d for Grace Bros Sydney (Removalists), Holeproof Underwear & Myer (illustrated inside; unused), etc, etc, a couple of OHMS types, some postmark interest, a few with minor blemishes.
ENVELOPES - MILITARY: KGV 1d red ACSC #M4 to Trooper AO Stengart, C Squadron, 12 ALH, 4 Brigade [Light Horse] with 'TERRORS CREEK/----16/QUEENSLAND' cds (jumbled dateline) in violet, a few aging marks, Cat $400. Terrors Creek PO renamed from Hamiton 1892; renamed Dayboro 24.5.1917.
