The balance of the collection on neatly annotated pages in expensive Mylar sleeves with a couple of First Day Covers, blocks with FDI cancels, a pair inadvertently cancelled with Parliament House cds of 6MY27, booklet & booklet panes, part-'jumbo' booklet with 1 panes only, blocks with Perforation Guide Marks in the margins, all the listed varieties, unlisted varieties & a range of Hairline Varieties mostly in positional blocks, two singles with Pre-Printing Paper Folds, single in very deep shade noted as a Double Print (?) on cover to South Africa, block of 4 with part Plate Number '12', three complete sheets of 80 from unidentified plates, selection of philatelic airmail & shipboard covers, etc, generally very fine. Unissued. [All but the 1d were never available from the Post Office. The d & 2d in brown were also never available for Stamped to Order issues, except that the d was used for the uprated 1d #ES65] (Qty 4)

REGISTRATION ENVELOPES: 1912 Boxed 'REGISTERED' 4d ultramarine size 230x100mm with larger stamp box & all the text reset in different fonts #R5 (HG C6), CTO with 'MELBOURNE/DE9/13' cds. Superb! A few mint examples have been recorded, but none postally used. In our opinion, this is the rarest item of Tasmanian Postal Stationery. Ex Australia Post Archival Sale No 1 (Feb 1987). [David McNamee's similar example sold at the Prestige auction of 2.5.2014 for $1747]

1899 Special Printings comprising d x10 in various colours including two marginal pairs & 2d x2, two d with the Melbourne CTO datestamp of 14JY/99 in black, the others with ruled lines in various inks, mostly stained by official attempts to remove the cancellations & one of each value badly defective. Very scarce. [These stamps - sometimes erroneously characterised as "colour trials" - were printed in a range of colours specifically for the purpose of attempting to remove the cancellations using various solvents and other chemicals, most of which are annotated on the pages.
