Well-filled Seven Seas album with New South Wales including Sydney Views 1d No Clouds apparently unused but it has been professionally repaired & 3d x3 (one with No Whip, & one with BN '78' - rated RR - of Cassilis), Laureates to 8d, 'REGISTERED' Imperf x4, Charity duo, 'OS' Overprints QV 10/- & £1 CTO reprints, Postage Dues set mint or CTO, etc; Queensland including 'Half-penny' on 1d Die II mint, Charity duo mint but a bit soiled, QV Revenues to £5 black, etc; South Australia Imperf 2d apparently a Double Print/Dry Print, 'POSTAGE & REVENUE' plate proof with blank value tablet & 'SPECIMEN' Overprints to £20, Thin 'POSTAGE' set mint or used/CTO, etc; Tasmania including Courier 1d with full margins, Tablets £1 used, 1899-1900 Pictorials mint, etc; Victoria with a couple of very attractive Half-Lengths, 'REGISTERED' 1/- with large margins, Laureates 8d orange & 10d grey, Bell Emergency Printings 1d green/drab, Stamp Statutes to £5 including an apparently mint 3d (no certificate), Large Stamp Duty £1/10/- CTO and 35/- & £6 to £9 all fiscally used, Ultra-High Values £50 (stained) & £100 both CTO, 1886-96 High Values fiscally used, 1900 Charity duo mint, KEVII £2 punctured 'OS' CTO, Postage Dues both sets mint or used, etc; and Western Australia including 1854-55 1d & 4d both with full margins, Hillman 2d with BPA Certificate, later issues to £1, Long Revenues postally used to 1/-, Telegraph duo postally used, etc; condition rather mixed but many including most of those mentioned are fine to very fine. Huge catalogue value, especially if one takes into account the numerous faked imperfs, forged overprints etc, that we have completely ignored in arriving at the estimate.
Box containing stockbooks, envelopes and shoebox, strength in Tasmania with a range of Courier & Chalon forgeries, Pictorials sorted by denomination, fiscals with St George to 10/-, Sidefaces to 5/-, some NSW and Qld, condition mixed. (Qty 100s)
Two cartons of stockbooks from all Colonies/States with lots of pickings throughout but rather mixed condition. Inspection is strongly recommended.
Postal Stationery Duplicated predominantly unused array of mostly Postal Cards from NSW including Fleet Card 1d x2 & used 5d OHMS Registration Envelope used x2; Queensland with Postal Cards 1d Chalon x8 & Sideface 1d x4 all unusually clean; Tasmania with 2d green Envelope 'IN DENISON GORGE...' (very fine); and Victoria including 3d red/green x4, 'Beer n Baccy' card, etc, also some Envelopes & Wrappers including a few pairs & sheets of 4 but with some damage; condition variable & quite a bit of light soiling that can be greatly improved with a soft eraser; also a very modest group of Victorian Barred Numerals. Collection on Scott leaves including Large Star very fine 2d, 'TASMANIA' Imperf 6d x2 & 1/-, Tablets mint to 10/-, 1899-1900 Pictorials mint, later Pictorials mint to 6d x2, etc, generally fine to very fine.
1853 Couriers Thin Hard White Paper 1d pale blue SG 3 an intermediate impression, margins good to large with complete outer framelines, BN '68' of Hobart, Cat £1300.
1853 Couriers Plate I Second State of the Plate 4d red-orange as SG 7 but on unlisted Pelure Paper, lightly cancelled clear of the Queen's Head, Cat £475++. Superb!
1853 Couriers Plate I Second State of the Plate 4d pale orange as SG 9 but on unlisted Pelure Paper vertical strip of 3, margins just clear to good, a trifle oxidised, light BN '64' cancels, Cat £1425+. A rare multiple.

1855 Large Star 2d green SG 16 horizontal pair, margins just clear to good, BN '60' cancel of Launceston, Cat £900+. Scarce multiple.
1857-67 Double-Lined Numeral Watermarks 4d blue SG 37 with the Watermark Inverted horizontal strip of 5, margins just shaved - at right - to huge with fragments of all six adjoining units below & at left, light crease at upper-left, large-part o.g., Cat £2375++. A very rare multiple that illustrates why it's so difficult to acquire even singles with full margins.
1863-71 Experimental Separations Perf 10 2d yellow-green SG 60, unused, Cat £850.
1870-96 Sidefaces mint collection with 2d die proof in black reduced to stamp-size, 10d block of 4, 1871-78 Tas-between-Bars Wmk including 1d & 4d strips of 3 with Current Number '41', and 4d & 9d blocks of 4, 9d x3 & 5/- (unused, signed on the back by two Dienas), 1880-91 1d U/L corner block of 30 with Plate Number '4', 1d Imperf block of 4, 1d block of 9 all with the Queen almost Obliterated, 1d Wedge Flaw in block of 6, 3d Chisel Flaw corner single, 3d Imperf pair, 1891 ½d Imperf pair, etc, generally very fine with some units being unmounted.

1871-91 Perforated by the Post Office Perf 11½ 1/- vermilion horizontal strip of 4 Imperf Between the Second & Third Units SG 140a, light fiscal cancels, unpriced by Gibbons. Rare: only two other examples recorded.
